Great location

La Residenza was the perfect hotel in Rome for so many ways. Our check-in was flawless and after checking our bags and having a splendid lunch at a nearby restaurant recommended by the hotel we were given earlier access to our room. The room itself was spot less and well appointed. The king size bed we requested was extremely comfortable and the largest we have ever seen. While the hotel is situated in quieter section of home it nevertheless was an easy 10 minute walk to the Spanish Steps or a 30 minute walk to the Piazza Navona.

They charged me extra for my friend while the room is superior and it’s for 2 people, and the next day I stayed at the same room and they said you can have a second person for free !!! And the guy at the night shift at the reception was so rude with a bad attitude. Also the location is not convenient to reach it. The service overall doesn’t much a 4 star hotel.

Excellent location. Hotel is immaculate and staff are very helpful. Beds, air conditioning, bathrooms excellent. Lobby is a little dated, but the important things were all 5 star.

The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions and dining options. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast every morning.

This hotel is conveniently located. Walk to Spanish Steps, Fontana di Trevi and Villa Borghese. The rooms are spacious and the bar/ restaurant staff are super friendly. This is a no frills hotel. Clean and comfortable.

The attached restaurant is a relaxing and welcome spot after a long day of sightseeing. The staff at this hotel is exceptional with respect to their helpful directions and suggestions for sightseeing. They as so proud of their historic city. Kudos to Teodoro, Vincent, the housekeeping and breakfast staff who made this week an exceptional experience!

Only negative was small noises in the room from the mini fridge and a/c, but got used to it after a while. We were very happy with our decision to stay at Hotel La Residenza. The facility is well maintained. Housekeeping was very good. The breakfast was tasty and presented with a luxurious flourish. It is small hotel but we felt that the staff used that small size to deliver big customer service. Everyone showed an attitude of care for both our well being and our comfort. Vincenzo was our primary daily contact and I was very impressed with the care and the accuracy of the information (There was a lot of it.) that he communicated to each guest. The hotel is within walking distance of several of Rome's historical sights and is surrounded by numerous cafes and restaurants. I should note that the hotel is near the top of one of Rome's hills making for an easy walk down to a particular location but somewhat of a 'climb' when returning. But cabs are readily available. Our visit was in August with temperatures in the low to mid nineties (Fahrenheit) so that also had an impact. Setting the weather and the terrain aside, My wife and I both agreed that should we return to Rome again, Hotel La Residenza will be the place we stay.

The morning breakfast is filled with fresh pastries, eggs, coffees… it’s plentiful and staffed by a server for all your needs. It’s quiet and there was always a beautifully set table waiting. There is a restaurant on site with delicious meals. I highly recommend. Loved it there.

A very comfortable stay

This was our first trip to Italy. This little hotel is a true beauty. The stuff was so wonderful and kind, the front desk attendant was so kind and helpful, made us feel like a family. The non alcoholic cocktails in the restaurant were so good, I will have to try making them at home and the bar attendant is simply a sweetheart. My boys loved the stay, we had a large room with a balcony and the washroom was well renovated. The location is perfect close to everything and very safe. Thank you so much for making our stay so special.
