We booked a junior family suite with a golf course view and got a room with views over the car park. The room was ok, spacious, the bed is very hard and the pillows are uncomfortable. The hotel is not very baby friendly as there are stairs to the room and also up to the pool too. Wifi only works in the restaurant, I didn't have service in the room or by the pool. The restaurant staff is very rude and the standard of service is not what you'd expect when you're spending £200 a night. There's no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. The breakfast is charged at 20 euros per head (for fresh bread and ham) The room was 'cleaned' once a day, but cleaning only means tucking the bedsheets in. We had cobwebs and rubbish left behind our door. We used the glasses provided for the minibar, but they didn't get cleaned. Over all we felt like we didn't get the service and the value we expected for our money.

Beautiful area, amazing property. Stuff were super helpful and nice, its a place to relax. Although No kettle in the room, you cant make tea of coffee... My room and bathroom were quite outdated with a shower curtain over a bathtub.....with some hair from previous gusts.

Great location for visiting nearby villages/towns but car essential.

It was fine for our one night stop over. Our basic room was very good value. Large modern room. Comfortable bed. Big bathroom. Polite employees. Proximity to a charming old town.

The hotel could not be located on GPS navigation. I spent 45 min to one hour trying to find it based on address provided. Two different business owners in town could not provide directions. Had difficulty with cell phone connection calling hotel with request for directions form my lication. Once there hotel was fine.

Generally ok. We stayed in newly refurbished rooms, which were nice but much more modern than we expected. We booked for dinner at the outdoor restaurant, lovely location. When we arrived on time we were told they were a bit busy and we should go away and come back in 20 mins, which was a bit rude. When we came back, we had a lovely meal and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Overall, nice location, good food but very slightly jaded. I will forgive the staff as a one off.

Chateau de la Begude is a very nice "find" for non-French travellers to the Grasse region. The room we had was very well furnished, quite large, and modernized with all one might want. The service at CdlB was excellent as well--front desk, room service, restaurant. The only minor problem: finding the place! There could be better road signaage starting several kilometers away that leads one to the hotel. Looks like paradise for golfers--we're not.

Staff are rude and lazy! When I spoke to the manager about Saskias behaviour she told her manager that I was lying. I had paid for 4 nights and left without a refund after the first night!
