The shower ran cold after 3 minutes, just enough to lather up and then have to wash off in stone cold water in May!!!! I stood in the shower waiting for hot water to come back until I was shivering uncontrollably. There are many issues with this hotel and I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. The staff were very friendly however. But there was no one available to talk to re hot wayer

There were only 3 renovated rooms upstairs from the hotel gaming venue and restaurant. It did not look attractive from the outside from the street, but the room (Pierce) was better than expected. The rooms have been tastefully renovated. Our room was spacious for a family of 3 for a 3 night stay in Jan 2023. It had everything we needed. There was a separate communal kitchen for hotel guests. Bacon, eggs, bread and milk were included. Guest were welcome to use all the kitchen facilities provided. Staff were friendly. Our room was quiet. We couldn't hear the noises from the downstairs or the street at night. Highly recommended!

Boutique accommodation of a high standard with only three suites which are very secure. It had an old world charm with modern conveniences. Only real gripe was the shower which went cold after a while. Had to keep turning it off and on again to get the hot water back.

Our first ever stay in a "pub", and we weren't disappointed. The room size was immense and had all we needed for a stopover as we made our way back home. The check in was quick and easy with a very lovely lady greeting us on arrival and we think was the same pleasant lady we spoke to on the phone. The historic building itself was beautiful too. Breakfast provisions in the shared kitchen added to the value. WE would definitley stay here again.

No reception, no lift, and parking was too far away. Otherwise, all other aspects were most enjoyable. Strictly only for the young and energetic.

Very dissapointing. After booking and paying for the lavish, well appointed, Matthew Suite our experience was completely ruined by a speaker pumping out heavy music downstairs in the pool table bar, directly underneath us. We couldn’t even hear the TV. This place is OFF my list. Never again

The in room facilities were fantastic. Fully stocked mini bar, Nespresso pod machine, fresh milk, smart tv, I could go on and on. A very comfortable room, but must say I wasn’t a fan of the toilet without a door. Somethings are better kept private, even from your nearest and dearest. 😂😂😂

False advertising! The main reason I booked the room was that there was a big spa bath in photo on the website of the Carey Room. When I finally found where I was to check in which was in the pokies room, I went to my room to find no spa bath. Change your photo on your website please

Absolutely love staying here. Kia was wonderful to deal with and made check-in a breeze. My rooms was bright, clean and very comfortable dinner down stairs was exceptional, from the ladies serving to the amazing cook. I look forward to staying there again in 5 weeks.

The carpark location in relation to the room is poor. You basically have to walk out the front and around the whole building to get to your car. Is no cover and did get caught in the rain. The steak I had there was great , the fisherman's basket was just awful. Breakfast was only available in the rooms. But there was no butter for the toast or no milk for the coffee. Had to call reception for assistance. When leaving the hotel I asked for the final invoice, and paid it, only to be charged a few days later with another amount. Im not disputing the extra charge, I did say (because it looked to cheap) are you sure this is everything? and she said yep thats the total. I honestly thought they credited me the Fishmans basket because it was so bad, but no. Overall no good, if it was one this no worries , but so many things in just a 2 day stay is very poor.

Our second stay at the Park Hotel and we enjoyed it as much as the first time! The Carey Suite was as we remembered it, spacious, modern and comfortable! The only disappointment of the evening was that the hotel kitchen wasn't open as we were looking forward to trying their cooking!
