Great location and would definitely stay here again as there is lots of shopping outside your door. Historical centre is easy to reach on foot..approximately 15 min walk.
Please note that the elevatoronly holds 3 persons so if you are a family of 4 you all cannot ride the elevator as it did break down in our stay due to people ignoring the advisory .

This hotel was conveniently located to the train station and on nicely located to shopping and sightseeing. The room was clean, small but if you’re expecting big rooms in Europe you’re going to pay for it. This room was perfect for sleeping and cleaning up, plus it had a mini bar as well. The breakfast was very convenient and cost 10€ per person if you didn’t include it in your room cost but it had variety and was tasty. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay there again if I’m in the area.

This is a pretty basic hotel with not a lot of amenities but it’s clean, quiet and in a good spot between Perrache Gare and Place Bellecour. A couple little markets close by and a quick walk to metro that will take you just about anywhere…or walk 10 minutes to Old Town. Staff was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that there are no drawers in the room or bathroom but it wasn’t a big deal for us. Overall happy with the experience.

Lovely hotel in a fabulous position in Lyon, everything in walking distance. Friendly staff, gerat breakfast. Hotel has a lift, excellent. We had a family room so lots of space, thank you for a lovely stay.

The room exceeded my expectations. It was large and separate the restrooms with the shower room. The bed was comfortable and the room has the air conditioning.

The hotel and our room were clean, basic, and provided for all our rather simple needs for a one night stay. Beds were comfortable. Staff were helpful, friendly, and efficient. Nice change to have continental breakfast with eggs, bacon, etc AND French breads! Location was safe and convenient.

OK location, but the hotel and the room were a little shoddy. The oddest thing was to have the toilet in one room, then the fawcetts bath and shower in another on a different side of the main room.
Not far from Place Bellacour, which is nice, but the Rue Victor Hugo just seems a little unfriendly.

It may seems a little thing but I would have liked some regular tissue instead of just toilet paper. And I only figured out how to rise the volume on the remote for the TV the day before I quit. But I guess it's me, being not too acustomised to that remote

Nice large room with a wonderful bathtub and double sinks in the bathroom Hotel is on a street with shopping and walking distance to a few restaurants. Staff was very friendly. Did not eat the breakfast so can’t comment. I would recommend this hotel but if you have time take the hop on hop off bus to see other areas of Lyon that have nicer shopping and to view all the sites.

Very centrally located with good access to the metro and other means of transportation. The road outside usually didn't have vehicles so was good for walking and taking a stroll. The room was spacious with a good shower and other facilities.

A nice little hotel in an ideal location. Many shops and cafes on this street and only about 2 blocks from Place Bellecour. Gare Perrache is at the other end of the street. Everyone at the reception desk spoke English but they were patient with my efforts to speak French! Lyon is a wonderful city to visit and I will visit it again. Try to speak some French. They are proud of their beautiful language and appreciate the effort, even if they have to eventually switch to English.
