This is a nice older hotel. It is nicely decorated and felt warm and inviting upon check in. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The room was large. It could stand some updates and the bed was a tad uncomfortable for me. The air conditioner did its job and so we slept good. Had a little trouble with the shower but nothing major. The tub was large and the water pressure in the shower was great. The room could use what I call a deep cleaning and carpets could stand an upgrade. Otherwise, the room was clean and had sufficient amenities.

This is my 3rd time staying at this hotel. I like it! Will be staying here again.

When you walk in, the lobby had an u pleasant smell. The bathroom was not very clean and the shower backed up for each person who used it. The beds were extremely firm and the pillows are the kind that are super fluffy but flatten as you sleep on it. It didn’t matter how much we turned down the air, it never turned on and felt humid in the room. We honestly expected better for the higher rating and price. The complementary cookies were good.

Bed was comfortable, room darkening curtains did a great job keeping the early sun out and keeping the room cool in the Texas heat. Room was really clean and large.

I found myself thinking on this visit that I would try my luck elsewhere though. There are no amenities, and feels very much like there is no management. The front desk is abysmal and if you need anything outside of the room like the little extra comfort you are paying for- a menu in the room, room service, reliable internet … nope! The food was awful and expensive. The gent at the bar is kind and efficient but you get a sense that he knows he is not working with much. I will take my $500 bucks for two nights elsewhere maybe next time. I just kept thinking maybe I deserve a tiny bit more for this price- like really! Anyway! :) Good lick. Try next door.

When we arrived in our room we found that the light in the shower was leaking, not just a drop but like a faucet had been left on above us. We tried to call the desk but both phones in our room were disconnected from the wall with no cables to try to plug them back in. I went down to speak to someone at the desk and yet again there was no one. After about 10 minutes the bartender walked over to see if there was something she could help me with and when she couldn’t she called someone to come and help me. I was told there was nothing they could except put me in a smaller room with no bed for my son, he would have to sleep on the sofa and I wouldn’t receive any refund or compensation for changing rooms. We stayed where we were since it was for one night but had no place to shower in the morning. Check out was fine. The next day I realized some items had been left so I called to ask if they had been found. I was told to call back after 9:30 housekeeping wasn’t in. I called back at 10 only to be told they don’t come until 11:30. Called back at noon, put on hold only to be told nothing had been found in the room.

Our room had a fold out couch which we intended to use and asked for sheets for it, staff didnt have any. Management needs to take a look at the condition of this site. Sheets were clean. Thats about it

Room was not clean, trash under bathroom vanity, mystery“stains” on chair. I brought my 8yr old daughter with me and she asks “ Why is the window leaking?” 3rd floor. My reservation was canceled an hr before getting there. Had to call. Hilton NO, more like a Holiday Inn.
