front staff excellent , beds comfortable, food good

These folks took such great care of us and were really grateful. We had a very comfortable 1-night stopover, but when we tried to hit the road the next morning the only road out of town was closed due to winter weather and wouldn’t reopen anytime soon; the whole area was filling with semis. We went back to the hotel and the gal at the front desk recognized us. She was able to get us a good room rate and luckily they had rooms immediately available. We were checked back in and unpacking before 10am. We weren’t the only ones either - they were accommodating early check-in as many stranded travelers as they had space for. They were sold out that night. It was much nicer to be stranded in a warm room than an idling car. The gym and pool were really nice to keep us occupied and lots of food with Walmart right next door. Their snack bar in the lobby is also quite well-stocked. Every staff member was kind and friendly, and the guy who serves breakfast was exceptionally congenial - we wished we had more cash on hand to tip him. Breakfast had PLENTY of great protein options and flavored creamers. Will def stay again. Hopefully not due to being stranded tho.

Check-in was quick and easy, and finding our room was hassle-free. One of the highlights for our dogs was the on-site pet park – a convenient area for them to stretch and play before bedtime. Inside, the room was clean and comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure. They even provided Dove soap, which smelled lovely. We ordered dinner from a nearby restaurant, and it was delivered directly to our room—a nice bonus after a day of traveling. The bed was cozy, and we loved that the window could open to let in fresh air. Breakfast was surprisingly great! After handing in our breakfast coupon, we were treated to eggs, hash browns, and sausage, plus options like French toast, six or seven cereal choices, and a DIY waffle station with red velvet waffles that were absolutely delicious. We also tried the blueberry muffin, which was incredible. Overall, my boyfriend, our two dogs, and I had a marvelous stay. Highly recommend for anyone traveling through Trinidad with pets!

Our bed was so comfortable and the breakfast was amazing we stayed five nights in Trinidad Colorado and we will definitely stay again

Clean, updated, and a hot breakfast. Spacious room with king bed. Bathroom spacious with separate switch for fan and light. AC had option to run fan on hi, low, or auto, which we appreciate for white noise. Couldn't hear any road traffic. We were just passing through, but noted they had a well-stocked bookshelf and the little touches that show pride in ownership/management. Would definitely stay again.

We had an excellent day. The room was very comfortable and clean. We are traveling with a small dog and they were very friendly and accommodating, and the fee for a pet was reasonable.

Our first room had dirty sheets. Honestly, I wondered if they had just been reused from the previous guest, as they were stained. The front dest was responsive and helpful in moving us immediately, and the 2nd room seemed to at least have clean sheets, but there was a red sticky substance on the doors and floor. The carpet was dirtty, there was hair in the bathtub, and in the case of both rooms, an old, musty smell . We stayed because it was late,and we were exhausted after driving 10 hours, but honestly, for the money, I'd go to a different hotel next time. As i said, front desk staff was helpful, but the cleaning crew could use help.

We booked a handycap two queen bed room ground floor when we arrived room not available were put upstairs in a one bed queen room and that’s not the best of it! The bed squeaked like i have never heard in a motel got no rest. I don’t know if it was my air force tee or what not treated well and they seemed to think it was funny! I need a refund have been loyal Hotels customer for years but last night was bunk!!

2nd vacation in a row we've stayed at this location. Organized and very clean with a respectable breakfast. If you decide to walk around the grounds, trash has gathered in the outlying areas just beyond the manicured lawn.
