I've stayed here several times previously, so the room was good value as usual. This is a Marston's (brewery) pub/lodge, so I was surprised and disappointed there was no draught ale in the bar. I had a pizza, which was edible but definitely required at least twice as much topping on the base - very miserly portion control!
NB: all the staff on duty were absolutely fine: I'm sure these are senior management policy issues.

Room was ok for what it was, food in the restaurant was similar to what you would pay 30-40% more for at a Premier inn, but on the last night of 4, I didn’t eat until nearly 8pm & basically had to take the empty crockery back to the bar after half an hour wait and ask for the next course. There was virtually no-one eating, the service was just zero

Our 2nd time staying at the willows , staff friendly and very helpful , bedroom was spotless . Only thing was the strong smell of weed on 2nd floor .

As I’m coeliac, I had to go over to the pub, order at the bar, and then wait to take my food back to my room.

This is the second we have stayed here. It is a convenient place near to our family and friends. The facilities are good and relaxing. The location is good with good views of the reservoir.
