Everything seemed decent except for the billing. I paid for the security deposit but I was charged more than $73 for some unexpected reason!!! The front desk could not resolve this issue during my stay!

One elevator didn’t work took long . The water was not that hot in shower.Other than that everything was good staff was good.

Never have been in Pittsburgh, it's not the easiest place to find or where to park to check in. The hotel was very clean and i liked the breakfast. The service was "meh" at best. The beds were not comfortable. I didn't sleep well. Also, you can hear everything from stuff outside to the other guests. The parking was okay but I didn't feel 100% safe leaving my car out there. Great location though.

Never have been in Pittsburgh, it's not the easiest place to find or where to park to check in. The hotel was very clean and i liked the breakfast. The service was "meh" at best. The beds were not comfortable. I didn't sleep well. Also, you can hear everything from stuff outside to the other guests. The parking was okay but I didn't feel 100% safe leaving my car out there. Great location though.

We enjoyed our stay. Room was very comfortable, Uber picks up at the front doors, definitely handy when you're headed to paints arena for concert. There are plenty of food choices around the hotel as well as walking around down town for the views.

Seemed understaffed. Had to call three times for extra pillows and ended up just having to go to the front desk. No cleaning service for our room during the day (the lady cam by that evening when we were in the room and asked if we wanted her to come in and clean). Everyone was friendly though. Beds were not very comfortable.

The hotel room and facilities were great, but our car was broken into during the night. We had a temporary window in place so we asked the staff about security. They said there were cameras so it would be fine. The parking lot is open to the street and didn't seem very safe. We reported the breakin at the front desk. To be fair, there are "park at your own risk" signs in the lot, but we had a late arrival and didn't really know what else to do.
In general, we're very happy with Holiday Inn Express. It's our #1 go-to hotel on the road.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was more spacious than expected and very comfortable. There were a couple exposed carpet tacks that snagged my socks, obvious wear & tear with scum accumulation on shower doors and a shaky towel rack. Other minor issues was that the refrigerator was not cold enough and the shower handle ran hot on the warm setting and lukewarm on the hot setting. All and all it was a pleasant, comfortable, quiet stay. I would recommend and stay here again myself.

Excellent breakfast, big and clean rooms. Overall we were happy. There could be two improvements -- the refrigerator in the room was too cold and freezing everything, the smoke detector light at night was blinking too bright causing difficult to sleep.
