The hotel is conveniently located near an highway access, perfect for those doing road trips in Portugal. It is close to Leiria and also the ocean. The staff is friendly, rooms have decent size and are comfortable, and the breakfast was really good, with plenty of choices and ingredients of good quality. Unfortunately it was too cold to enjoy the swimming pool, but from the breakfast room we could see that it was in a nice location.

The property is nicely landscaped with well designed rooms. Staff was friendly and attentive when needed. The reason for the “meh“ rating was because of the in room heating/cooling unit which I constantly had to fight them with. I can not sleep when it’s above 19 degrees. If I turned on the AC it would immediately turn back to heat. It took four or five discussions with the front desk, where they have control of your rooms individual climate unit, to get them to leave it alone. Frustrating.....

Very nice hotel just off the motorway. No apparent noise from traffic though which was good.

the Spa was actually a really nice swimming pool, which you have to pay extra to use. (10 or 15€) There is a tiny sauna and turco for 2 people that were both not working. Breakfast was not good. They offer a diner for 15€ that is worth it. Nothing really gourmet but nice.
