The hotel is ideal for what you need. Clean, fresh and comfortable. For me the staff speak fantastic English with my little Spanish

I had a great stay! The rooms are a little dated and it's not handicap accessible (at least not through main entrance). Everything was very, very clean, though, and comfortable and the views if you're facing the old town are ASTOUNDING. And some common spaces have an amazing retro vibe.
For those with allergies/chemical sensitivities, my first room did have a sewage smell but they moved me and it was not a problem at all in the second but FYI.

Hotel was ideal for a few nights, close to the old town sites and to the new Town shops. Only downside for us was that the restaurant didn't open until 8.30 at night which we found a little late.

We liked everything. The bartender in particular was well informed and discussed life/politics in Melilla at length. The staff at the front desk happily answered any questions. Maids were most obliging. We were happy to have a porch, and meals were delightful and nutritious.

Reachable only by Taxi from Airport (7€). Room quite old. AC quite old & noisy. TV with only Spanich channel, not even 2M Maroccan. You have to take stairs everywhere: street to reception, reception to lifts, 4th floor to restaurant on 5th. Canteen type restaurant having only heated frozen dishes. The so called breakfast has only the name: 1 roll as butter toast, a cup of coffee or tea, 1 glass of fruit nectar. No egg, ham, cheese, fruits, fruit juce which could be expected in a any similar hotel. Go elsewhere.

Very rude staff at reception, 4star hotels usually have in the room as coplimentary coffee, water etc.here not. Too islamic and mosque disturbing right next to the hotel.
