Floors were nice, new. Staff was friendly. No end tables, had to unplug the fridge to charge my phone. Worst part was so much light came through the curtains. From the parking lot! When lights were off it still looked daylight in my room.

Okay.. how do I put this politely. The hotel is in need of repair. That said, if you are a single man like me traveling alone and just need to crash, okay. But I would NOT bring your wife and kids here. It's a flop house.

Great stay

The property has potential but it needs a couple years to get rebuilt and leaks check I had a leak in the door when I stayed there. The wall next to my toilet had mold growing out of it. So I couldn't enjoy it but served it's purpose

Very glad this Inn and Suites has opened and the staff is wonderful!! They are so friendly and caring and I always feel safe!! Other places that are making their prices so expensive

The first room I got the bathroom was filthy tub and floor so I got moved to another room no trash can nobody came to clean my room the next day no clean towels but what was on the bed when I checked in. No iron or iron board only one socket working in the second room just terrible. The staff was very rude and always asking you checking out when it clearly shows I am there 2days I will never stay at this hotel again and will not recommend it to nobody

Staff was polite, they are remodeling other parts of property. Just remodel our room two months ago, clean but working on finishing details.

Probably on par with other properties in this price range.

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. 2/3 of the hotel is condemnable. Took several minutes to even find the office. Called the front desk and they were useless. Mirrors and floor were dirty, bed was clean-ish. Two tv remotes, neither worked. Took a shower, MASSIVE leak from behind the tub spout. Shower drain didn’t work. Did a quick shower (3 minutes) and when I was done, 3-4 inches of water in tub, an inch of water on the floor. No vent or fan in the bathroom. It was so bad, I chose to drive home a day early.

TV didn’t work. Shower was broken and was flooding. No trash can. Noisy neighbors(playing loud music and were yelling at 12am-4am) no one did anything about it. Dirty bathroom floor. Overall unprofessional.

I knew I was checking into a budget stay, but was surprised by the low level of the room and service. Got to the room, past the dark, very dirty, middle of a construction zone area with construction guys hanging out in the hallways. The room had no towels, no trash can. When I asked, I got one bath towel and one ‘mat’ which was a hand towel. The renovations are nominal, the room felt very old and grimey. Nothing else at this cost, but still not recommended.

Our hotel stay was pleasant (especially for the value). Riverside was cute, quaint, and charmingly themed. The staff was welcoming, hospitable, and accommodating. I will strongly consider them for my future visits to Danville, Virginia, and look forward to seeing the finished product (post renovation)!

Good service and price

Awful, awful, awful. Bates Motel if you will. Literally slept on top of the blankets and then I had to go to the dollar store just to get my own pillow case and spray it smelled liked cats. I had no hot water to shower thank god I brought shower shoes it was probably the dirtiest place I have ever laid my head. If anywhere else is open stay there cause for even 80 dollars you are going to be pissed. Never again

I felt safe there. I had an inside room not one right there at the parking lot. Owners very friendly. Could have been cleaner a lot of black long hair all over the bed and bathroom. No trash can. There was some kind of nasty smelling air freshener in the air vents. But I did feel very safe and that was the key thing that I look for cause I am staying by myself. I give them courage for remodeling and I will stay there again

Riverside Inn the staff is amazing. The property is in the process of updating. The room was comfortable but not towels,no coffee pot,lock didn't work.no ice machine or soda water machine. Room did have refridge, microwave,TV and comfortable bed. For the price and location it was good. I would stay again. Thank you to the staff and PK

When we got to the lobby i needed to use the restroom they took me to hotel room being remodeled with no door on the bathroom and no toilet paper. Then we get to our room the adjourn room door would not shut or lock. The sink was full of hair and the bath tub was dirty. The room smelled of weed. They switch us to another room that was alittle better but still had a horrible smell and was not clean. We ended up checking out and going to a cleaner hotel

Pros: Staff was extremely friendly. Cons: We didn’t have any towels, the room smelled musty, limited wall outlets, half a roll of toilet paper was left, the closet didn’t have a rod to hang our clothes, and the bathroom was outdated (it didn’t look like the pictures that were posted online) Overall; it’s not a bad place to stay if you are staying for one night.

Very clean nice service

Although it was a decent amount but the rooms are being rushed to have them completed. It needs a little more modern updating, especially the doors, it the rooms need a closet to be able to hang clothes

This inn is being remodeled so still under renovation. Some of the rooms are ready which they are taken reservations for. The staff is fantastic! After a 5 hour 94 degree motorcycle trip the desk clerk greeted us with a cold canned drink and an upgraded room at no extra charge. This will be a fantastic property when done but still great now

The hotel (motel) is a work in progress. They are updating a very old property. You can see the other buildings when you drive around. The rooms are completely disassembled, and construction is ongoing. Check In was a breeze, very pleasant young lady. We had a room on the ground floor, and parked right in front of our room. I asked for a smoking room and it was available. No bad smells from prior smokers. Beds were clean, floors clean, heater a/c unit worked great. We asked for towels from housekeeping, and they were quickly delivered. shampoo, conditioner and lotion provided and the standard motel size bar of soap. TV and WI-FI were working perfectly. The price was excellent, and when I checked out I gave them a small sticky note with items that should be looked at. Toilet Seat was new but not tightened. Just small things. The staff wouldn’t notice these things outright, and since I stayed in the room, I thought it was fair to give them insight. Check out was just as pleasant. I would stay here again.
