The person at the desk indicated that our room wasn't ready that we would have till 3pm to check in. At 3pm I tried to check in again and our room still wasn't ready. The hotel is centrally located to area restaurants. I was pleased with the size and cleanliness of my room as well as the size and cleanliness of the common areas. The free parking was ample with decent views outside. I did not avail myself of the free breakfast; however it smelled delicious. My only complaint was the slow check-in process, although the check-out process was smooth and quick.

Lots of amenities, great breakfast, like new facility, nice bathroom, great room layout with comfortable seating. Towels were too thin. Housekeeping left door unlocked when they left, didn’t clean sink area, and did not give us clean wash clothes.

We came to visit Monticello. The property was close and convenient. Our room was clean and nicely done. The breakfast was good. Thank you so much! Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Pretty decent hotel stay. Nice clean spacious king bedroom but Bathroom walls were dirty/stained.

Mary at the front desk this morning thanked me for staying with them. She noticed my Martha Jefferson (local hospital) sticker, said she hoped for a positive health outcome, and said if I needed to stay another night in Charlottesville that she would ensure I had a suitable room -- even if she "needed to move some folks around"! Room was clean, quiet, good quality towels and the window shade COMPLETELY blocked the morning sun, so no intrusive sunbeams to wake you before you're ready! Breakfast area has lots of seating, ranging from tables for 2-10 people (great for small or large groups without sharing) and bar-type seating facing the windows for non-morning (or unsociable) people. Everything was clean, with a wide variety of hot and cold food and beverages. BONUS: not one, but TWO kinds of gluten-free breakfast muffins!

The front desk staff were professional. The room was clean and comfortable. My only minor complaint was that the room was booked for five people but we needed to request additional towels and washcloths. Overall, the suite was adequate for our stay.

The hotel in total looked clean, the only thing was the bathroom was not very clean. It wasn't nasty, but it could use some bleach. The FREE breakfast was good.

No major complaints. The bathroom must of had a sewage problem, kinda smelled a little. Other than that it was ok.

Absolutely delightful experience. Mary at check in was a joy. The room was spacious and comfortable the kids loved the pool and we all loved the breakfast!
