Definitely not a 5 star by any standards. So platforms should check their rating system before onboarding a hotel under the 5 star category. That said, the location of the place is wonderful, staff is super friendly and helpful and breakfast is great! With the expectations of a 3 star, would love to visit here again!

Magnaura Palace Hotel combines a 5-star, white-glove experience with a warm, cozy home-away-from-home experience. It is both traditional Turkish and modern, packed with amenities and conveniences.
The location is as central and convenient as can be and the views are the best in Istanbul.
Breakfast on a menu of diverse mix of fresh, in-season, and delicious Sultan's table of small plates overlooking the Sea of Marmara on one side and the Blue Mosque and Aya Sofia on the other side. You can't stop taking pictures at the restaurant and the roof terrace above.
Finally, the service and hospitality are top notch and always with a smile. They really go out of their way to help and make you feel comfortable. We're definitely coming back!

Fantastic hotel! Excellent location, literally a one minute walk from the Blue Mosque. I was concerned about being a solo woman traveler, and I felt totally safe in this location. Facilities were very nice and clean. Breakfast buffet included numerous interesting Turkish options and was delicious! Rooftop terrace views were spectacular. Hotel staff were courteous and attentive. Hotel owner was super knowledgeable and gave excellent restaurant and activities recommendations, even helping me make reservations. Highly recommend this location.

They helped us with our bags and always welcomed us when we came back to the hotel each time. The breakfast on the terrace overlooks the city and the river and it’s an amazing view. The food was very good too. It’s centrally located and within walking distance ro the main tourist attractions like Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and the Basilica Cistern. Great location; clean rooms; WiFi; friendly, courteous, professional staff; beautiful view of the Sea and Blue Mosque from the breakfast area; several breakfast choices although bland for my taste; drip coffee was weak YMMV.

This is a fantastic boutique hotel that is impeccably maintained; the owner is on site, never sleeps; and is incredibly clean and comfortable. It is located next to many local attractions. I was there while it was hot and the air conditioning works very well. The breakfast buffet is outstanding every morning and again, everything is impeccable. I highly recommend.

The staff is amazing especially Nousi, the receptionist and Enes who helped us with our luggage. The owner of the hotel was kind and super friendly. The room was cozy and clean. The breakfast was plentiful and the breakfast staff attended to our needs. The location is perfect as it’s close to restaurants, supermarkets, and the major attractions. I really love this hotel.

Location was excellent and close to all of the major attractions in the historical part of Istanbul. Staff were always friendly and helpful, and the daily breakfast was wonderful

We checked into the hotel at night and in the morning went to the roof-top breakfast area and was left speechless by the breathtaking view of the Bhosporous and the majestic Hagia Sophia on one side and Blue Mosque on the other.
Both of these monuments are walkable and for the entire duration of our trip, we would walk to the square between these monuments and just relax.
The restaurant options, metro options are too many !
The hotel staff were very polite, helpful and the mediterranean breakfast we had is the most delicious we had, made by the chef in house !

The hotel is in the very centre of all the Touristic places, just walking distance from Blue Mosque. The view from restaurant is stunning. The service was magnificent they are all very nice and attentive all the time , helping you and answering all the questions. I will definitely comeback ❤️

Had an awesome stay, hotel, staff, location all were great. Rooms were very clean, the included breakfast was very good had lots to choose from. You couldnt get a better location all within walking distance.
