Before staying there, I looked up the reviews on Google Maps and saw a lot of complaints, so I was a little worried, but the facilities were stylish, and I especially liked the large pool. The room was clean and comfortable. Was it originally a Holiday Inn? The room was exactly the same style as a Holiday Inn. The staff were friendly and I had a comfortable stay. In terms of location, it's a little far from Ao Nang Beach, but I prefer it because it's quiet and calm. There's also a market 5-7 minutes walk away, so you won't get bored at night. I would like to use this hotel again next time.

Ok so the hotel staff and location were fab! Very helpful friendly staff and ideal location close to everything but set just back off the main street so you arent bothered by loud noise. However that's where the positivity stops.
The hotel's marketed as a luxury 4star resort but its the worst 4 star I've stayed in, in terms of cleanliness, comfort and maintenance.
They do clean and replace towels every day but as others have mentioned, maintenance around the hotel is an issue.
No air con in reception, fans dont seem to do much.
The accomodation corridoors and bedroom doors look like a prison. The rooms are a 3star at best. Very grubby everywhere. Tea and coffee making area not cleaned in a very long time as well bedside tables. Bathroom full of mildew and taps and shower in need of replacement. No slippers/flip flops or dreasing gowns which have been standard in all the other 4stars I've booked.
The superior room garden 'view' is very questionable
Most uncomfortable bed I've slept on in Thailand. To be fair to the team, as soon as i mentioned it, they arranged for a mattress topper but this didnt help much. Only one plug socket working and that was only after you wiggle the plug a little.
Was also a little disappointed to find that the balcony isnt furnished so you cant sit out with table and chairs.
No smart tv.
Didnt have breakfast so can't comment on that.
Pool area nice but the sunloungers are very old and need replacing.

We really enjoyed our stay, the room was very comfortable and the pillows amazing! The pool and surroundings are very well kept. Great breakfast with plenty of variety. Good position with the beach across the road and night market close by.

Great location right on the beach with easy access to restaurants and tour operators. Peaceful; the wheelchair ramps and elevators were helpful for my mother who has mobility issues.

Overall, the hotel was good, in a peaceful location, but still within walking distance of everything. The staff are friendly. The grounds and swimming pool area are beautifully maintained. As a family of 3 we stayed in an interconnecting room with pool access which was pleasant. However, there are a few things that need improving:
1. Breakfast had a fair selection of food, but a lot of the food was cold/and or ran out. The fruit was covered in flies and there were hairs on some of the sauces. Birds fly in and out of the area and enjoy eating the leftovers if these have not been cleaned away and the seats look quite shabby.
2. I asked for a birthday decoration in the room for my partner's birthday which did not happen.

Be warned if you select a room with pool entry the room will be very damp with a strong musty smell! Breakfast was mid. A plus is that they offer a laundry room. The location is this property biggest advantage!

Excellent hotel ~ if you book here you will not be disappointed. The pools are wonderful, the breakfast has a good selection of items to get a great start to the day, and the rooms are set up nicely and mine was very clean. My room (2206 pool view) was set up as a room with two twins or a king ~ the twins were pushed together nicely and the bedding was set up for twin beds, except the fitted sheet covered both beds ~ would be perfect for a couple, two friends, or a single traveller. It’s not in the busy Ao Nang beach area, it’s a lil more quiet, and I preferred this less busy beach myself. It’s a 2 block walk to the nightly Ao Nang market, which is a must do if you’re in Ao Nang.

Excellent hotel ~ if you book here you will not be disappointed. The pools are wonderful, the breakfast has a good selection of items to get a great start to the day, and the rooms are set up nicely and mine was very clean. My room (2206 pool view) was set up as a room with two twins or a king ~ the twins were pushed together nicely and the bedding was set up for twin beds, except the fitted sheet covered both beds ~ would be perfect for a couple, two friends, or a single traveller. It’s not in the busy Ao Nang beach area, it’s a lil more quiet, and I preferred this less busy beach myself. It’s a 2 block walk to the nightly Ao Nang market, which is a must do if you’re in Ao Nang.

Worst check in experienced. We arrived hotel at about 11 pm. We had to wait for more than half an hour for getting keys, as the rooms not ready ??? I made reservations for 2 rooms but they assigned rooms in two different building. We had to argue with the Receiptionist to get the rooms in the same area. After we got angry they finally gave adjacent rooms. Our holiday mood was over by the receptionist. Our flight to Krabi delayed and we arrived late in the hotel. After getting into room we found telephone not working, tv not working. My wife had to walk a long way to the reception to complain. After complaining the service technician came and fixed the problems but it’s already crossed midnight.
We pay so much higher rate and got such services, we should be compensated. All other hotel services were okay.

Room advertised as "Family Studio Suite, 2 Bedrooms" however it is simply two adjoining smaller size hotel rooms. The hotel advertises laundry service with same day delivery if turned in before 10am however we had issues with this being the case. First day we had to show them it states this and still request our laundry that evening as it wasn't already in our room and the second day turned into an absolutely horrible lack of customer service where we wound up requesting our dirty laundry back and we would use the facilities to wash ourselves. The pools are enjoyable and we appreciated the convenience of pool access option. Bathrooms are a bit of a squeeze and the toiletries are subpar. Breakfast had a wide selection and the staff for the majority of the trip were pleasant and helpful. Wouldn't stay here again.
