It’s Ok! Except it’s on a main noisy street.

Property manager was rude and unfriendly, lots of noise very late into the early morning, check in and other services were slow.

They allowed me to check in early because they could tell that I was extremely tired from my long flight. I will be booking them again in my next trip to Madrid.

I had a very comfortable and spacious room with two beds. The price was reasonable, and I didn't mind the shared bathroom. It's worth noting that the rooms in the front of the building can be a tad noisy with traffic from the street, but it wasn't too bad. My biggest concern was that the internet seemed slow and unreliable, constantly cutting out on both of my phones and my laptop, so I had to go to a co-working space down the block in order to get any work done.

A great hostel for the price in a perfect area. Footsteps from the subway and waking distance to most major attractions. I was surprised they even made up my room during the day. Disappointed no soap or cups provided in the room and the air conditioning could not be controlled by me in my room even though I was in a private room. Despite this fact, it only got too cold for me once.

I spent two nights at Safestay. I arrived at about 2 am and was glad that they still let me check into my room. The man that I checked in with was thorough. Checking out, however, there was a very rude employee. Luckily, I was saved by another person working at the front desk.

TERRIBLE! I stayed in this Hostel for 6 days, every day Wi-Fi doesn’t work. I complained 4 times to 4 different people, I complained at Instagram of the hostel, but it wasn't resolved. Wasn’t there a cleaning room service. I don't recommend this hostel for any reason. My experience was really bad.

Rooms were clean, staff was friendly. Wifi was very poor in the rooms I got, and can get noisy if you get a room that faces the street. But it's a hostel so there'd be noise after midnight.

Meh, just okay, I’ve stayed at better hostels. I booked a 4 bed ensuite, I thought it was going to be an all male room, but it was a mixed one, that was nowhere when I made my booking. The hostel was kind of dirty. You have to pay extra 2 euros for a towel plus a 5 deposit, and also extra 5 deposit for the room.

Safestay is amazing! The location is wonderful, near Metro, supermarket, spanish restaurants... It's very convenient for me to attend international congress this time. Besides, receptionists and staff are friendly, willing to answers questions and offer assistance. For example, I couldn't use my plug in the electric socket at room, so I ask help from a nice male receptionist. He lent me a new plug free, and I returned it to another female desk clerk when checked out. I deeply appreciate his kindness! Thank you! Safestay is safe indeed!

Really clean, excellent layout and services, friendly staff. Drinking fountains are a great idea. Shame that the roof restaurant was closed the night I stayed.

Good place to rest if you are traveling solo

Probably one of the nicer, cleaner hostels I have stayed in. The location is pretty central, so many places are walking distance. I would definitely stay there again!
