It was so lovely. Our room looked out over the river with an amazing view of Mont Blanc. We had our own little balcony.Wonderful breakfast. Great back yard hang out. Staff super friendly and local knowledge. Couldnt have been happier.

What a wonderful hotel! We stayed in 6 or 7 budget hotels on our holiday to France and Switzerland and this was definitely our favourite. The staff are amazing (shout out to Samir, originally from Iran). There is a gorgeous garden overlooking the Arve River you can sit in which has sun or shade all day. Sit with a free water or coffee from the machines in the lobby or with a complementary pastry/homemade cake. Our room was a standard room but had amazing views of Mont Blanc and a lovely balcony. As with all budget hotels there are cons - no air con though after a first sleepless night Samir did find me a fan. It could also do with a refresh, especially the hallways. And our room was ‘between floors’ so no lift access. The breakfast was just ok, and over priced for me (our room rate didn’t include it( We’d come back here in a flash though!

Excellent location. Wonderful friendly service. I would stay again. Bathrooms and flooring could use an update but the amazing friendly staff and lobby area beyond made up for that. The location is perfect just off the main area and nice and quiet.

The staff at the front desk were fabulous. We enjoyed talking with them. They were able to recommend restaurants and things to do. The hotel was close to everything but far enough from the noise of the center of town. Each evening we had a bottle of wine out on their terrace next to the river that runs next to the hotel. Beautiful and relaxing with great views of the mountains.Close walking to the cablecars for hiking or to Aiguilles du midi. We enjoyed the hospitality of free coffee, waters and afternoon cakes. The rooms are on the smaller side but very comfy. No air conditioning so we slept with the doors open to balcony and the outside air. No bugs! Perfect for us. Highly recommend for your stay in Chamonix!

Happy culture is true - what a lovely hotel, right on the river with a beautiful outdoor space. Park your car and walk everywhere - so convenient. We stayed in the two bedroom two nights and the main hotel one night - both were really special.

Wonderful reception staff- especially Samar. She was so friendly and helpful. Also liked the afternoon coffee and tea with cakes. The hotel is in a great location- in walking distance to all the sights. But the hotel is looking tired and the hallways are not adequately lit.

Amazing experience with this hotel, the service is extraordinary! Once they saw that we have 2 kids they upgraded our room for free, we didn't ask them to do that! They are superiors 😊😊 We booked one night but since the location, breakfast and service are top, we stayed 3 nights at the end. Very recommended 👌

Everything you need is within walking distance. Leave you car in the parking lot after check in, and you won't need it until after you check out. The staff is excellent 👍.
