We loved everything about our stay! Erica was an excellent communicator and she made she all our needs were met. She was very sweet and welcoming. We were in the beautiful Rio Room; the firm bed and overhead rain showerhead were lovely. The southwest motif was beautiful and the framed skyline pictures give you a glimpse of what you’ll see once you step outside after dark. The stars… breathtaking. The location could not have been better for us: 3 minutes from the general store 3 minutes to Chili Pepper Cafe 5 minutes to the entrance of Big Bend 10 minutes to Ghost Town Terlingua and Starlight Theatre; the Boathouse We will definitely be back!

Ours was a great room, in a fabulous location just outside of the entrance to Big Bend NP. The bed was comfortable, and the towels were soft. The room was easy to access (key pad), and everything we needed was provided. I would definitely stay again.

This place is great, it feels like an Airbnb. Plenty of space for our family of four. Clean and close to the park.

This place is AWESOME!!! Not many lodging options in Big Bend so I wasn't sure when booking. And at first glance I still wasn't sure! But what a gem!! It's beautiful! And the BEST location as it just outside the entrance to Big Bend State Park. Owner was VERY responsive when we checked in late. Definately 5 star!

I have never been to a hotel where the staff was remote. It was strange and disconcerting. However, I followed the instructions the hotel sent and got right into a well air conditioned room for which we were grateful.

This was such a great find!! Location: perfect! Super close to Big Bend entrance and Terlingua for food. Room: super cute and rustic vibe. Great big shower and great linens. Service: we got a text early on the morning of check in with everything we needed. If we needed something all we had to do was text and it was taken care of. Fresh towels everyday were appreciated after a day of hiking in the park. Highly recommend!

What can I say that others haven’t. It’s convenient, if you’re going to Big Bend National Park and it’s clean and comfortable. It deserves the 10 rating it has. This place is truly a gem in the desert. I almost hate to give it a good review for selfish reasons. The more people know how good it is, the harder it will be to book a stay here. But it’s well deserved! We are a family of 5 and it says it accommodates 5 but that might be a stretch unless you can fit 3 kiddos on a pullout couch. Ours are older and one opted to sleep in the recliner but for just a 2 night stay it worked. You might want an air mattress for more than 4 people. If we make it back down to Big Ben’s we will definitely try to stay here!

Beautiful room. Very comfortable and clean. Just be aware that it's in a remote area and there's no fancy sign lit up in front if you arrive at night and no front desk (you will be sent a code for the lock). My wife and I loved our stay prior to going to Big Bend National Park.

My partner and I loved staying here. It was such a romantic stay and I highly recommend it. They stay was very uniquely decorated and clean. Plus, it’s close to the Terlingua town so when we got home from the park, we would go explore the shops and restaurants nearby! Definitely staying here again if I’m back!

The lodging was very clean and relaxing. Check in was smooth. Towels and bedding were of great quality. Added touch of a couple of cold waters and nice bathroom sundry was appreciated. I would definitely recommend.

It was great bed was comfy and everything was in order. There where alot of dead bugs but it was not on the bed or anything it was on the floor.

The check-in process was very good. The location was good. And the condition of the property was very good. It felt like a mix of Airbnb and motel property. Totally worth it
