Lovely staff in a luxury resort. The only downside was a there was a party next door and we received no sleep. After visits from the hotel staff, I ended up screaming at the guests at 4.30 am and by 5.30 the music and shouting finally stopped. All we got was sorry from the staff and will report to the manager. We never heard from the manager.

Stunning place. Front of house staff very welcoming. Dinner service a little slow. But with thay view I wouldnt complain. Amazing breakfast. The villas are stunning beyond words

This is one of the most beautiful hotels to stay at in Phuket and definitely the best one on the southern end of the island. It's location is also very convenient to restaurants and to make your stay even more convenient they'll drive you in their golf carts right from your villa to the main road where the restaurants and shops are and when you're done they'll come back and pick you up. I've stayed in many 5 star hotels around the world and their service level exceeded my expectations. They constantly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable.

Service was v good except that the buggy service could be v slow even though the resort is v small. Not much to do apart from a gym and spa. The local area is v basic. Whilst price is many times cheaper than the resort the service and quality is also miles apart. Room Service is reasonable. Breakfast is basic. The main problem is mosquito. I don’t normally had problem but this time I was affected seriously.

唔值呢個價錢，服務好一般，連 welcome drink 都無杯。出出入入需要坐 buggy car，開多架車都懶，要三個客人逼喺後座（仲有一個就坐司機隔離）。Restaurant & bar 出品唔錯，但部分職員講嘢態度語氣好倔，無乜禮貌。Resort 個景同硬件係幾靚，但未至於好 impressive，配套就三四星級。

如果你对大海情有独钟，这家酒店绝对值得这么贵的价格。酒店有Buggy接送到餐厅和Lobby，到沙滩只需要5分钟路程。

Horrible service and experience ever. On the arrival day we try to check in but the staff said not til 3pm to check in so we went to the main street restaurant to eat and wait , I did tell the staff tat I don’t hv a local phone to call for the buggy pick up and they ask me to go to the Main Street KR store to ask for the buggy pick up. The weather was really bad the storm suddenly come and the store not opened ! No one at the KR store so me and my family sweating on the street and dunno what to do coz there is no wts app contact or any online contact! The point is there is a handy phone for local phone call in each room but the staff said we r not checking in yet so we can’t use it ! I made the reservation for this kata rock hotel fee months ago and wanna enjoy a vacation with my family but not even checking in already ruin our mood n we all sweating in the storm . What kind of service is it ?

Staff not friendly and service minded, very hilly area requires buggy for every movement in the resort. only 1 pool and 1 restaurant no public chill-out areas in the resort. You are confined to your villa and to 1 restaurant with a limited menu.West location giving no sun during the day for the entire resort Kata Rocks is overrated and should be avoided. Major 5 star hotel in Pukhet head and shoulders above Kata Rocks. Place going south very quickly.

Stunning villa with sumptuous breakfast, unfortunately the tv volume didn't work in the 3 rooms upstairs and we had to get help each time. Louvre was also not working in one bedroom and paint was peeling from the ceiling. For the price paid, shame that they didn't provide complimentary dishwasher and laundry detergent. Service was patchy as they didn't seem to understand our requests.

Pros: villas are beautiful and the view splendid, the buggy systems is efficient, the location allows for walking to the -relatively quiet- main street in 5 minutes, the restaurant has great food (including great Thai food). Cons: no beach (but that is not a surprise given the names) and the beach is not far if you want one, avoid villas overlooking the restaurant's roof, housekeeping not the most efficient at making the room when you are not there / refilling things, etc., hotel will not call taxis / tuk tuks other than the hotel car nor help you negotiate fares when you find one, concierge service was hit and miss (no written confirmation of restaurant bookings, bookings made under a warped up version of my first name, etc.), forgettable SPA. Still happy I went but would not return.

Our first trip to Kata area just after another short break around Patong earlier this year. Kata Rocks was an eyesopener to world class resorts. Staff are friendly, especially when we hit the resort too early in the morning, the staff handled professionally by letting us to rest at their lounge/ poolside and arrange dinning services. Impressive. The room- living area was spacious plus modern and the outdoor private pool was, needless to say, everyone's favourite. Bedrooms are clean and cosy but not super roomy. Overall facility including restaurant, bar, spa and gym are no doubt world class. Location was 10 mins walk from main tourists area which is good for a quiet hideaway. They have efficient club cars to ride you up the hill. Only thing is their lemongrass hair conditioner smells really bad. Front desk promised to review and I believe they really will. Will come back next year
