Fransico was also pleasant, went around his duties quietly but always with a smile. This couple has created an oasis out of a horse ranch. Some rooms, the pony stalls, therefore are small. It's about 6km from the town, where you have to go for meals etc, so best to either have a car or a bike. On the plus side it's near the ornithological park and some riding schools. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who appreciates a personal touch when they travel - the owners are kind and helpful, and were the most personable hosts. They gave us great recommendations for sight seeing, and also made us a reservation for a local restaurant where we had one of the best meals in all of France - Casa Romana. This is not a standard hotel - expect to unplug. They have wifi but not in your room, and guests can (and will) bring their dogs! Also, it's CASH ONLY.
