Very nice boutique hotel. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. She shared with me all of the places I should visit not only in Athens, but around Greece overall. This was my third trip to Greece, and although I enjoy the islands, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked Athens. This hotel is situated in a perfect location. Right by all of the shops, beautiful churches, the Plaka district and just a 20 minute walk to the acropolis. The room was clean, and quiet. My only critique would be the mattress, as it was a little hard for my liking. I prefer hotel beds where your body sinks into them, but that’s just a preference. The breakfast was ok, very average. The coffee was very good, but I think that’s anywhere in Greece. I will say that I was very surprised that they even provided a nail file, which I was in dire need of, so that was a nice touch!

Amazing stay, but... First, the positives: Great location, very nice room, very clean and quiet, very nice breakfast and restaurant on-premise, and very excellent Staff. We especially appreciated the terrific service provided by Anastasia, and the restaurant staff were very helpful as well. The hotel is located in an area very convenient to the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum-- walking distance. It is located in a vibrant neighborhood with lots of bars and restaurants. Now the "but": Be VERY careful when you book, because the hotel is very inflexible with bending their rules regarding cancellation fees and non-refundable fees. We booked for three days, but were delayed leaving home, informed the hotel, and arrived to stay there for two nights. Because we had originally booked for three days, we were charged for the day we were unable to arrive in time for. We planned on staying for another 3 following our cruise, but our plans changed and we had to return home to deal with a family emergency. We did not realize it, but in the fine print we had booked a "non-refundabe" rate for the second stay, and even though we had stayed there before the cruise, the hotel was not flexible at all -- we ended up losing three days of non-refundable room fees. That part was disappointing. So be VERY careful when you book with this hotel. They are unforgiving and inflexible when it comes to cancellations and/or non-refundable fees.

Perfectly located boutique hotel. The staff was amazing, immediate attention to any issue we had. The room was bright and spacious. The restaurant offered good breakfast and good cappuccino. We will definitely return.

The location of the hotel is great. It is very close to the Acropolis and many other locations. It is a small boutique which makes it nice because there are not a lot of people around. The room was super comfortable and roomy. The balcony was amazing with the views of the Acropolis. The daily breakfast was excellent, the staff was very helpful

Great hotel in a great location close to all attractions in Athens. Hotel is updated, clean and staff were all friendly and helpful. Also hotel is close to many restaurants and bars and shopping. You get a nice breakfast to start the day. Could not have enjoyed anything better. Highly recommend.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Pros, Nespresso machine, good but noisy air con, hot shower, but slippery floor, Smart Tv and big enough fridge, But best of all amazing view from balcony and location! Cons, rough uncomfortable bed sheets, poor pillows, lack of storage (we were staying for 5 nights) poor communication about the taxi we had pre booked with them, but they made it right! Very Helpful staff

I was looking for a property in this area and was specifically looking for a place with a gym. I paid a lot more for Ivy Suites because Expedia listing says it has a gym. I does not. It has nothing there on property for health of any kind. I could have paid a lot less for comparable hotel footsteps away. I feel ripped off by these people. The person at the front desk said she has heard from other people about the inaccurate listing. Still says they have a gym.

Cant fault this hotel . All staff i met were friendly , breakfast was very good , suite i booked was large and shower was huge ! 5 mins from Syntagma Square and walking distance to all of the historical sights and restaurants and bars of Athens . A big pat on the back for the hotel and a big pat on the back for me , for choosing the Ivy Suites .

Amazing location and staffs. I wish I can give more than 5 stars out! I was at this property with my 9 yrs old child for 6 nights and Miss E** at the reception, she was so much helpful and kind. She prepared a list of attractions for us even though I didn’t ask for it.

We loved everything about this hotel. The breakfast was great, the location was central to everything, the staff was friendly and helpful and the amenities was exactly what we expected. The room was a bit on the smaller side, but we weren't in the room much other than to sleep and dress.

We checked in late on September 26, 2023 for about a 12 hr stay until we caught a flight home. The front desk was exceptionally helpful upon check in and scheduling a taxi for the next morning. The dining options in the area are great. A lot in walking distance to choose from and was a safe place to walk around but we only made is 2-3 blocks from Ivy Suites.
