We love staying at The Rise. This was our second stay. The two bedroom townhouse with a view is perfect for us. Staff are always friendly. Look forward to coming back to The Rise again.

Large rooms with good facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff. Bottom units overlooking pool are quite loud from road noise. Had issues with no internet due to a hardware fault which unfortunately took 3 out of our 4 night stay to rectify as no on-site IT which was disappointing for a busy time of year.

The lifts only go to the first level (either side), carrying heavy suit cases up the stairs was difficult.

I liked the view; modern layout; decor; price; pool

Fantastic stay. Amazing view and large wonderful living areas. Great location perched 5 minute walk above Hastings st and Main Beach. Good modern fit out. Wonderfully friendly and helpful staff.

The room is not in clean condition with dirt on floor and bathroom. The sink is too small and two curtains of 3 rooms are broken. The wifi only allows connection of two devices but this is for a 3 bedroom apartments of 6 ppl. Part of the balcony blinds were missing so people can see us through windows at night time if lights on. No reception on weekend but at least there is a mobile number to call. We did not meet any service staff both checkin or out. Quite convenient to the beach and shops.

I have stayed here a number of times, it is located about 500 metres up the hill from Hastings and is a nice easy walk down, great views from the balcony which has wide opening doors and living room is bright and plenty of large windows are very would highly recommend, lady at reception was great even called us early and advised that our room was ready before we even arrived, also has 3 toilets great if you have friends over

Our room was ground floor and it has a stifle smell. but other than that, it was good. close to hasting street shops about 10 minutes walk. I think it is a good option for a big family as you can save your hotel bills but still close to Hasting street. you could also drive to hasting street but there is just no parking.

The Air conditioning didn't work properly so we needed to move rooms. Carpets stained, tiles cracked, door handles falling off, battery's for remote control were dead, Air con vents filthy, carpet nails sticking through carpet which digs into your feet etc. This is all stuff that should not happen if the hotel had auditing on cleaning, robust deep cleaning processes and a solid maintenance program. They gave two internet vouchers for the internet which both had 1.5GB of data. We had four adults staying in this three bedroom apartment and I would have expected more than two vouchers. We ran out of data and the top up rates we absolutely ridiculous (AUD$100 for 10GB) The hotel charged our credit card before we arrived which caused a problem because we were traveling with another couple who wanted to pay half of the cost which meant the hotel needed to refund us half the costs and in turn we lost out $60 in currency fees. Not to mention against credit card merchant rules. The hotel mentions they are "on the fringe of Hastings Street" which is misleading. They are nowhere near Hastings Street. They are 600-800 meters away from Hastings street. All in all a disappointing stay and there are better property's to choose from. With a darn good clean and significant maintenance this property would be good but right now its average at best. I would not stay here again.

Location was great, only 400metres from Hastings St. Great apartment with great views. Only flaw was it only had one bathroom & the one & only toilet was in that bathroom, 2 bedroom apartment.
