The central part of the Hôtel des Consuls de Tarascon, which was built in the 15th century, this Hôtel Particulier has been in the same family for 71 years, which is a short time considering its history.
However, little by little, through successive renovations, the Hôtel has become not only beautiful, but also comfortable and welcoming.
With its stone walls and verdant courtyards, the Hôtel Particulier remains a charming family hotel. Artists, young people and children alike spontaneously marvel at this rare place. In the central part of the Gîte des Consuls, there are 2 large bedrooms for adults. And in the living room, a sofa can be opened up for visiting friends. Two bathrooms, two toilets. Finally, the large living areas: lounge, dining room and conservatory on the ground floor are both spacious and pleasant. The kitchen is at the heart of the house, a warm and friendly meeting place.
It's ideal for families or groups of friends.
There are plenty of activities to do, including the Avignon festival, the Gardon gorges, horse riding in Les Saintes Marie de la Mer, city tours, hiking and cycling.
In summer, you'll need to pace yourself according to the heat, and close the shutters between 11 and 6 p.m., take a siesta before going out and, if possible, take advantage of the many restaurants in the area (Monsieur Brun's pizzas in Maussane les Alpilles, thank you Etienne and Nicolas)!
