Excellent family run hotel with views of Neushwanstein Castle. Good breakfast and ample parking. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. The young gentleman on the front desk escorted us to our rooms and all 3 rooms were together. Great location for touring local castles. I highly recommend this hotel.

We loved our one night stay. Our room was spacious, clean, had a very comfortable bed and lovely deck with a view of both castles in the distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the cake and coffee when we arrived were a welcomed touch. When visiting this area in the future I would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay, the breakfast was delightfully varied and unique. I really enjoyed that all items were labeled.

I couldn’t have picked a better property! The breakfast is to die for. Had a room with a view of the castles, so magical.

It was a beautiful hotel,with excellent service and staff,we were really well looked after and the free coffee and cake in the afternoons was amazing

The staff was awesome. They accommodated my need for Gluten-Free food in the morning. They were helpful with my tour of the nearby towns . The front desk personnel was the nicest person I met during my tour thru Germany!

The hotel facilities were very nice, with a Bavarian-style that made the stay were special. The staff was very friendly, breakfast was delicious (with great coffee) plus an amazing view from the mountains of you book a room with balcony. Definitely a place to come back to!

Well located only few min drive from the castles & Fussen. We had nice view from our veranda which was at the back. Helpful staff. Great breakfast.

We had very good front desk service upon check in ( provided us a map of the area, some restaurant suggestions). We were visiting the castles in the area with our two adult daughters and stayed in a family room (sleeps 4). It was very spacious, clean and quiet enough to sleep with the windows open. The breakfast was also very good (and included). The proximity to major attractions was excellent - very close, but far enough away to avoid the crowds. Highly recommend!

Most amazing view of the mountains and castles from our balcony. Room is more rustic and dated, but once you see the balcony you forget all about it. The staff, especially Daniel, are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely return.

We absolutely love this place. Pay extra and get the top floor rooms of main house that has views of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles. Great for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing just taking in the scenery. We actually enjoyed the views of the castles better than the tour themselves. Breakfast was wonderful (16 different types of jam ... just to give perspective). Staff very friendly and there to help you out or just listen. Location fantastic. We walked to Fussen (20 minutes), the castles (25 mins) and Schwangau (15 mins) ... being in the middle of all three. And they gave us free bus passes (if you do not want to walk as much). And Zugspitze is just 30 min drive away.

Near to the castles but out of the way so you feel you are in the middle of nowhere. A great brewpub just down the road has great food & beer too which is a bonus.

Lovely small hotel, spotlessly clean. Friendly, attentive staff. Nice touches like complimentary home made cakes in the lounge each afternoon, selection of teas and an honesty bar. Good selection at breakfast which is served in the bright conservatory.

We had a superb 2 night stay at this hotel. The family run hotel was very welcoming we had a superb room, very large and is in first class condition. The balcony view of the castles was excellent. The breakfast provided was quite simply the best we have ever seen, hot and cold continental, the choices of which were very extensive and presented perfectly in a superb breakfast room. The staff/owners were very friendly and spent time with their guests which exemplified the all round care that we felt. The hotel is perfectly positioned for visits to the castles at Neuschwanstein which are just over a mile away. This was an excellent stay we will always remember and may well return. Highly recommended
