Location was great and staff were helpful and friendly. Requested and was given a room looking out over the sea, lovely! Easy distance to the older part of town and to the train station. Recommend highly.

If you’d like to doze off to sleep hearing waves lapping on the shore, Hotel Bahia is perfect with the beach just across the street. The hotel bar & restaurant are very convenient, but it is also close to other venues. The family rus hotel is friendly, comfortable, and very convenient to the train station that is a 3 minute walk away.

The waitresses and maids did excellent jobs. Unfortunately our accommodations were a little bit difficult since we are seniors and our room was located on the top floor. I believe there were 69 steps! Perhaps their rooms could be arranged “age-appropriate”.

Excellent location in front of the sea with limited noices from the terrasses. Only downside was that the private beach was accessible with payment of sunbeds

Hotel Baia made my stay in Monterosso an absolute dream. The location is steps away from the train - so after a bit of a stressful train ride I was able to go right up to my room and then walk right onto the beach. I had a big beautiful window, A/C, private bathroom and everything was very clean. The staff was extremely accommodating, even though I can barely speak Italian, and helped me to figure out how to take the ferry to the other towns and how to book my train to Rome. You can also rent a chair and umbrella so you never have to worry about finding a spot on the private beach. Would highly recommend!!

Hotel staff (except for the maids) are very rude! Not helpful at all. No elevators for guests. Only their luggage. Did I mention how rude the staff is? Would not stay here again.

Hotel staff were somewhat friendly. Hotel was nice with views of the beach/water. Breakfast was good, coffee was excellent. Only stayed one night.

I was in Monterossa to hike the Cinque Terre. It was a great location to start the hike.
