The home is fully furnished and decorated with art from the owners' global travels.

The open living room and dining room enjoy gorgeous panoramic views in four directions. The integrated, unique custom kitchen wraps around the large stone fireplace. These living spaces open onto shaded outdoor entertaining areas, and the ever-enticing bocce ball court.

Meandering pathways lead through the organic orchard up to the small private hilltop meditation room.

The home features a spacious king bed Master Suite with unparalleled panoramic mountain views through two sets of French doors that open onto a sunning patio. The custom master bathroom features a "loo with a view," including its own set of French doors opening to the mountains.

The spacious Guest Bedroom with queen bed opens onto its own scenic side porch surrounded by a rose garden. The guest bathroom also looks over the mountains, and includes a soaking tub.

The third spacious bedroom is, instead, the Library Room (which doubles as the Music Room and Movie Room), featuring a delightful "secret bookshelf" entrance and an entertaining collection of hardcover books. It overlooks the orchard.

You'll savor every moment of the scenic 6-minute drive from the Retreat into town to enjoy lunch or dinner at the historic Mattei's Tavern in Los Olivos (an Auberge Resort), or to visit any of the dozens of world-class wineries, foodie restaurants, and tasting rooms nearby. Los Olivos is a favorite upscale wine tasting & dining village, featuring photogenic architecture reminiscent of its wild west heritage as a popular Wells Fargo stagecoach stop.

The equally darling & historic villages of Santa Ynez and Los Alamos are also nearby, as is the world-famous Danish village of Solvang. All four of these surrounding local towns are charming, romantic, unforgettable destinations. Spectacular vineyards, longhorn cattle, sheep, horses and deer dot the landscape. Santa Barbara's airport, theaters, music venues, and dreamy beaches are a lovely 45-minute drive from the Retreat.

This is a meticulously maintained, fully furnished, private, cherished home. Two-person maximum. We cannot accommodate pets, events, or smoking. Minimum 1-month term lease. Excellent credit scores and references/reviews required. Owner pays water, gardening, and HOA costs. Renter pays monthly electric bill and WiFi. Renter pays first months’ rent, equivalent security deposit, and $450 cleaning cost.
