Our family of 5 absolutely loved our stay at this property. There was plenty of room for our family of 5, the property decor was beautiful, the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook and the beds were soooo comfortable. We enjoyed spending our evenings on the deck and using the gas grill to cook and fishing off the dock. The kids enjoyed using the water trampoline. Brad was easy to get ahold of and welcoming. We will definitely be returning and would recommend this spot to anyone.

Thoroughly enjoyed our winter stay in this cozy lakeview cabin! Queen bed in master was comfortable and the couch and great closet space were bonuses! The gas fireplace downstairs kept us toasty and added a great ambiance to the lightly falling snow outside. The electric fireplace on the covered porch was great too! The kitchen was well-equipped for making several meals and the washer and dryer were handy as well. Enjoyed watching the sun come up over the lake in the mornings. Several great restaurants and shopping within 15-20 minutes (we liked Thai-D, Bennie’s, The Vault, and Crown Brew Coffee).

We stayed in this house to be near hiking locations. It was clean and cozy, and communication with the owner was always pleasant.

Nice place on the water. Especially if you have a boat. The covered dock was a plus to be able to park my boat and just jump on and go. Also decent privacy from neighbors which is a plus.

We had so much fun renting this beautiful lake home with our family. The home is newly renovated and very clean. It has a large deck with lakeside access and a covered dock. We were able to rent a boat locally for our family to fish, swim and tube. The owners are very helpful, responsive and kind. Great place!!

This lake house is a hidden gem that is just perfect in so many ways. Both bedrooms have comfortable mattresses, pillows and comfy blankets. They both have AC units and ceiling fans to keep you comfortable while you sleep. The main living area is down a flight of stairs. The furniture is lovely and very comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with the essentials. The internet is strong, which my teenager appreciated. The deck in the back is stunning and overlooks the lake. We enjoyed our coffee in the morning outside and dinners made on the gas grill. We watched the deer right off the deck at sunset. This is a great place to stay when visiting your student at SIU. It's about a 30 min drive to campus and makes you feel like you are on vacation. The owner was very easy to communicate with and was extremely friendly and accommodating. We loved our stay.

We had a great stay. This place is like new. It had everything we needed for the perfect lake vacation. The host is easy to contact and very responsive. The fishing here was amazing. The beds are very comfortable. We will definitely be back. We brought our paddle boards and enjoyed a nearby hike.

Amazing property. The home had everything we needed, even some condiments in the fridge. Very helpful and attentive owner. Gave us a boat recommendation and some other activity recommendations. We had no issues at all during our 5 day stay. Host was super friendly and checked in on us but was not annoying or intrusive. The home was actually better than the pictures. It is wooded but also right on the lake. It was so peaceful outside on the deck. Will definitely stay again. Thanks Brad!

The place was very easy to get to and in a nice secluded spot. Having the washer and dryer was great with kids! Close to some really nice hiking spots, too! Very comfortable and homie!

The house was so cute & cozy with many updates throughout. The neighborhood was very friendly & the owner was one of the best we’ve ever had. We spent a lot of time on the deck overlooking the lake with it’s beautiful view!! We will definitely be back. Thank you Brad for the great accommodations.

We were there for only a few days, but everything was as advertised. No problems with the home, it was neat and clean. everything we needed. Would def. stay here again.

Great time

My family rented in November to watch our son run the Tunnel Hill ultra Marathon. It was perfect to come back to in between watching him during the race. Fireplace was a plus because it snowed! TV and internet were great! Would rent again in the fall to enjoy the leaves and warmer weather. Just as described and owner was very accessible.
