I like breakfast n caretaker Prakash service.

It is away from ramjhula by four wheeler although it nearer by walking

The location of Raj Cottage is excellent. it is located close to Ram Jhula bridge and it is quiet and peaceful. From the roof terrace you can see the Ganges. The rooms themselves are large and comfortable. It is kept very clean. The caretaker Prakash, was wonderful. He was always available if needed, very helpful, and cooked a delicious breakfast every morning. A much as the property itself , Prakash made this one of the best hotel experiences I have had.

Hospitality of staff was excellent and exceptional. Prakash was so lovely and helpful that made real difference. Cottage was beautiful decorated and huge bedroom hotwater,hot, delicious home made breakfast was served by Prakash.

I didn't like that I only stayed there for two nights. Next time I will book it for minimum week.

Our best hotel in India! Staff and the caretaker are so kind and helpful with everything! It is very calm, in a secured complex and the room is still in a very good condition - what is extraodinary for Indian conditions :) we would definitely come again!

Lovely location in a private gated residential area, i woke up to the sound of birds singing, I had a balcony room with lovely plants all around me. The Manager really looked after me and I had fresh mango and a delicious rice dish with peas and mint for breakfast.

breakfast was good due to location of the Raj Cottage we had to suffer. the three wheeler first went Ganga Vatika and again went to another location .

The hospitality was amazing. It was like we're staying at home away from home. We would have stayed for another day if it would have been a long weekend. Will definitely book for my future visits to Rishikesh. The breakfast food was also good though it was not a buffet breakfast but it was more than sufficient and overall tasty food was served. Overall it was a good experience

There were cockroaches everywhere in the room and in one room we found some dampness around the washroom area on the ground floor. If we keep these things aside, it was a good stay

In the map, it shows near the river but it is not actual situate near the river if you vo there by vehicle. Actually there is a hill between cottage and river, you can cross this hill on foot if you want to go river site. But if you want to go by car you have to travel a long distance around 3 km.

Every thing was just amazing

Extremely kind and helpful owner. I could call him anytime if I had problems and he would fix it. I had my bus at night and although I had to check out at 10 am he told me that I can stay longer as much as I want. He also gave me another room for the time that I was waiting. Breakfast was nice too! It's like you're staying at someone's home, rather than a hotel and it was a wonderful experience.

Breakfast was very good. Location of the cottage was good with a good security. The only problem is the main approach road. You must have your own car during your stay. Otherwise you have to walk a very stiff uphill road to reach the cottage.

TV of my room was not functioning for 2 days. Geyser of the wash room became inoperative on day 3. Caretaker of the cottage attended the problems occurred but he failed to solve the issues.

The property is very well maintained and the caretaker, Mr Prakash welcomed us very nicely. We had booked late but still he managed to make our stay comfortable and took care of our requests which was very nice on his part. The property is very close to the market but still located in a peaceful environment. Though we had a short stay we will be looking at having an extended stay next time.

Very well placed. The ganges are just 5 minutes from the property albeit a bit downhill. The view from the roof was good. Rooms are pretty big. Gated community. Good cook and staff. Very cooperative. Access to kitchen. A very pleasant stay.

Getting back to the property on foot might be an issue for the elderly. Me and my wife had no issues. We took rickshaws back to the property for the parents and costed us between Rs. 100-150.

It was nice and comfortable stay.
