It was an excellent stop for us to recharge on our way to our final destination. The inn is located in a very pleasant village with friendly residents. We had a great impression of the inn and the owner and Eugenia were very helful and friendly. Our room was a bit dark, but it was spacious and served us well for one night. We were able to enjoy the pool and a very delicious dinner in the garden. The breakfast was also good and varied. Our children loved the game room, pool, and ping-pong table.

Nos ha gustado todo.El personal muy atento y amable, nos hemos sentido muy a gusto.La habitación grande, es una casa reformada con el interior robusto, de piedra y madera, cuidada hasta el detalle.Preciosa.La cena buenísima, el desayuno muy abundante y variado.La cama perfecta, y enorme.Lástima que no nos haya dado tiempo a pegarnos un baño en la piscina, será la excusa para repetir.Es un lugar mágico!!

Everything. Our welcome remained right up to the moment we drove out of the village and the joy of staying there will stay with us forever. The staff are amazing and helpful.

Not a thing

Great location, if you are looking for a relaxing stay in a picturesque place. Don’t expect a nightclub around the corner. Very friendly and supporting staff. We felt very welcome.

Such a beautiful place. Nestled in such a sleepy traditional mountain village in the parc, you don't expect when you open the door the beautiful airy atrium, lovely rooms and how it feels inside. This is a gem. Eugenia (sorry spelling) made us so welcome, the food was great. Kids loved it. We did the 8km walk to the reservoir (recommend). Cafe montesinho is great fun and made some lovely cakes. Good mountain villages around to visit (we visited one that straddled Portugal/Spain half an hour a way). Oh and a lovely grand piano. We were the only people staying so I played a lot of Satie. Overall fab. The family room is actually two bedrooms in a suite so very comfortable if bringing kids.

Alas swimming pool not open, looks stunning but a bit early in april. This will be lovely in summer

The host, Robert, is simply amazing. He's so friendly and interesting and just overall such a nice person. Home cooked dinner is made with very local ingredients and excellent. The house itself is restored with respect for the authenticity. It has a lovely outdoor area overgrown with vines. It's exactly what you want when traveling to a rather remote village in the mountains.

Robert is a marvellous host. He runs a beautiful establishment in a wonderful rural location. We loved everything about our stay.

If your Satnav asks you to join a dirt track - ignore it. The correct road has tarmac right to the door!
