The bed was not at all comfortable. There could have been better options for breakfast. Chicken or Turkey was not available .

Great building. Lovely rooms and surroundings.

Breakfast was good but could be improved - no options on the eggs! Limited during our stay because of a delivery shortfall on eggs.

Authentic historic property with a real feel about it.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and service at the restaurant was very attentive. The location is excellent with a private beach and restaurant right on the water.

Amazing location

Rooms were basic

Our 2 breakfasts were great. We also ate 2 dinners on site and the food as well as the table seating was very good. Also enjoyed the corridors on each floor with the antique furniture and the beautiful artwork.

We got lucky on parking, but there is clearly a parking shortage for the number of rooms.

Very calm and charming place.

Just translate more all the notices and menus for non german tourists.

- perfect location, direct at the lake - there is the own „beach“ of the hotel - rooms are very nice equiped and beautiful - very nice and friendly staff - good restaurant in the Hotel

- breakfast is very „normal“ for this price level

The property is beautifully situated beside a lake. The whole vibe is very cozy. The restaurant staff was really friendly

Someone complained that they room was dark in another review. I thought the room was fine. I’ll admit it was not bright enough to put in makeup in the bathroom. I had to use the mirrors in the room itself. Maybe change the bathroom bulbs to halogens and the place would be perfect. Otherwise it was magical!

Location and ambience is awesome. Staff are so friendly and make you feel very welcome. I love to return here and it gets better year by year.

Food is average, although that seems to be the aim as prices are also average. There’s a lot of good restaurants in the area however.

Say "hotel was awesome" means say nothing about Schloss Hotel Wasserburg. I spent half of each year in hotels but this stay motivate me return to hotel and spend here my vacations. All pictures you can find about couldn't reflect atmosphere and your impressions when you open door of your room. Book and try - this is what I can say about hotel. Breakfast was perfect, location like from Harry Potter movie. Definitely will visit next Summer.
