We loved everything about our stay at Agriturismo Poggio Istiano. The surrounding area is so beautiful. The farm house and the room (almond tree) we had were immaculate. Tiziana and Christina were both very welcoming. They gave great suggestions on restaurants and what to do around the area. Breakfast was varied and plentiful (meats, cheeses, eggs, homemade pastries and jams, fresh fruit). We only wished we had stayed longer!

Peaceful location with beautiful sunrise and sunset. Great service and tips from the owner. Great pool. Very big room/apartment. Very well kept facilities.

Bug screens in the windows would help to keep windows open and ventilate and lighten the place. Would be nice to have a coffee machine in the room since there's nothing around and no breakfast is provided during summer. (the owner did provide us coffee upon request)

Location and the views were spectacular! There are many agriturismos in Toscany and Poggio Istiano is definitely one of the best. Tiziana was super kind and very helpful host for us. Without her tips we could never discover so many wonderful places and restaurants in Toscany. I can definitely recommend this accommondation and Toscany itself.

We liked it all. I would add more fruits on breakfast, but that’s nitpicking because the whole breakfast was made by local ingredients, which made the meal one the best I’ve tasted.

Not much I can add from other comments. Absolute stellar stay. Best breakfast we had during our entire trip.

I challenge you to find a better location than this place but you're unlikely to do so. Took a chance on this place that seemingly had less information and fewer reviews than other agriturismo options nearby. But it exceeded all expectations. (We curiously ventured out and passed other locations with similar ratings out of curiosity and this place easily surpassed them all in terms of setting). In addition to the gorgeous views of Val d'Orcia's rolling hills, cypress-lined roads and hilltop towns, Poggio Istiano boasts the off-road privacy and seclusion, a worthy hiking trail and of course some fine olive oil. The views are breath-taking, the villa was quaint and adorable and Tiziana is truly a treasure as a host. It was everything I was hoping for my family and more. You are absolutely certain that I will be returning here once more.

You read these reviews and think you know what to expect, but I couldn't have imagined a place like this! I've never seen such a magical place!360 view of the Tuscany hills, everything you have seen in movies but with a warm homey vibe. Tiziana is a wonderful host, she gave us amazibg recommendations for restaurants in the area. She has a nice calm and friendly energy. Her homemade breakfast is divine, lots of options and each is delitious. Our apatment was gorgeous, big bed for my >2m boyfriend, bathtub in the room, everything done with taste. Photos don't do it justice, just book it and see.

Fabulous location on the top of a hill overlooking the best part of Val d'Orcia. Tiziana was kind and very helpful. Breakfest from the the products of Val d'Orcia.

We liked everything.

Everything is perfect ! Especially Tiziana is wonderful host and the apartment is located in beautiful place. We stayed on 2nd floor and we could enjoy fantastic Tuscany view at its' terrace.

On first day, the water was suspended in midnight. I asked to Tiziana for solving the problem and she handled it really quickly ! Thank you.

Everything else was perfect, Tiziana was answering to all the requests we had with a smile. The pool was amazing and overall very good hospitality during our stay.

Room was missing musquito nets in the windows which I though was crucial if you want to leave the windows open. No A/C at all in the apartment but the owner was kind to give us a fan.

It is a beautiful place, had nice time in the nature. Very close to the beautiful towns. Would be better to be able to use the pool, hopefully in the summer. Landlady is so friendly.

Couldn't find it on the navigator and had difficulty to reach there at first and during night while returning back.

Beautiful location, wonderful property, super breakfast, excellent and friendly host! We had a fantastic stay, really enjoyed it. If you are considering this place, just go ahead, you will not be disappointed!!! I hope we can go back and visit again!!!
