Close to Victoria General Hospital, yet in quieter area then going downtown.

The location was near shopping and close to where our family lived.

There was a large group of kids staying in the hotel, so it was somewhat noisy with banging in the room above and doors closing very hard. Sounded like someone coming through our door.

Breakfast was great, and the location was alright.

There were a group of Hockey teams staying in the hotel. Kids running around making noise late at night, and early in the morning. I complained to the manager, but it did not to make any difference. I had other guests complained about the same thing. The swimming pool was not available because too many kids were in there yelling and screaming, and only one parent chaperoning who did not seem to care of the noise. I couldn't even use the swimming pool. An employee came to see the noise in the swimming pool, but he did nothing to stop the yelling.

Quiet, clean and close to many amenities.

Only con was I think the light bulb by the bed was on the verge of dying. It kept blacking out then turning on a bit later. It was the one closest to the second bed in Room 105.

The walk in shower was weird. The taps are on the wrong side as you have to get in the shower to turn them on so get hit with freezing cold water until you get it to the right temperature and the soaps are too high. I am short and have a back injury as well and cannot tiptoe so I could not reach the shampoos, etc.

Very nice staff and service at the restaurant by both server and chef was fantastic. Food was very good.

There was hardly anyone in the hotel, and yet I was put in one of the worst rooms, right next to an incredibly noisy ice machine. Poor service and not smart. Secondly there was no option to turn off the heat in the room, which also had a very noisy fan. I would be reluctant to go back.

The room was great, beds were comfy.

We booked this hotel for the pool!!!! It was our Christmas gift to our kids, to stay in a nice hotel with a pool. Sadly, upon arrival, with no notice, we were told the pool was closed due to maintenance issues. We would have stayed at a hotel near the venue we had tickets to had we known...

I can say enough positive about this property, clean, quiet, good value, close to restaurants and shopping. The big highlight is the staff, my father was at end of life which was the purpose of this visit and the kindness and compassion shown by the front desk staff as beyond anything I could have expected. I highly recommend this hotel.

Rooms were very clean with comfortable beds. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Friendly staff. Restaurant food was great.
