The jacuzzi & fireplace made it that much extra special for an anniversary getaway. The continental breakfast was delicious too!!

The location is good. The gym is above standard for a hotel (more equipment than most).

The rooms felt a bit dated. Was only given a half roll of toilet paper (no extras!). Poor value for money.

The building was unique and very clean. The restaurant was great; the staff was very accomodating. The food in both the restaurant, and breakfast buffet was very good quality. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Overall nice facility and accommodating staff

One room had strong mildew smell and signs of prior water damage. No signs off black mood, but mildew was obviously inside the walls. Staff changed room without any hassles.

The tea was good.

Breakfast was okay, nothing special. The scrambled eggs were tasteless and the bacon was not crisp. The bed was a little too hard. The fireplace I could do without. I would rather have had a comfortable chair in its place. The bathroom was much too small and the counter much too high.

Included breakfast buffet was the best one of our two-week trip. Electric fireplace and secondary inside door to room were nice touches.

No elevator, so anyone with mobility issues should request a room on the ground floor. TV uses a bizarre double-channel system that makes it impossible to jump directly to different channels. You have to move through the channels one at a time with a clunky remote. Very frustrating.
