Do not make room clean up

I didn't like that I had a late check in because rooms weren't clean. I didn't like the fact that the cookies we were given had nuts in them when I have a peanut allergy

Hotel exterior, interior and rooms were filthy (disgustingly dirty rag in the bathtub, crumbs present on the floor), several repairs needed (toilet hissed all night, shower faucet broken, bathroom fan didn’t operate) and when we raised concerns, we were not only unable to switch rooms but we’re also greeted with nothing but argument from the front desk manager (Tia) and although she asked the cleaning manager to chat with us, he concurred it was unacceptable and said he would get the room cleaned while we were at dinner. When we raised concern about the cleaning not happening, my wife was told by Tia that she was going to call security to escort us off the property. Absolutely awful experience and my “1” rating is a compliment, if able, I’d score this in the negative. Likely the worst stay I’ve ever had in any sort of hotel anywhere in the world.

checkin experience long and no smiles. I came in soaked as it was pouring outside, no simpathy received. Not the end of the world but something you'd expected at Hilton's. Definitely better the shuttle driver

The bartender on May 13th was a great person. He tolerated our late requests for Kahlua and creme.

Initially my credit card was refused even though 2 days earlier the payment was accepted. It was good that I had my pad with me to demonstrate this fact and we were promptly given our room keys.

Location to Prudential Center for a hockey game. Good size room with a king size bed.

King size bed with only 2 soft pillows. Too late to call down to the desk for additional pillows. Returned from a hockey game and entered the restaurant at 9:46 PM only to be told they were closed with someone still sitting at the bar. Was never told the restaurant closed early and hours were not posted. Then up to our room on the eighth floor and the vending machine for sodas was totally sold out. Thought breakfast at $18.50 was a bit pricey. No"do not disturb" placard available in our room . Therefore our door was knocked on at 8:30 AM to see when we were leaving. At checkout, the clerk was so busy talking to her manager, she just gave us the receipt and then continued her conversation. Felt we were ignored and our business was not appreciated. Very disappointed.

I loved how it was close to the train station. I didn’t have to go outside. The staff was very lovely and made sure everyone was welcomed.

I just didn’t like how the elevator to get down to the lower level was around back. I don’t think I would be able to do that alone.

ideally located to catch the train into NYC but be aware of your surroundings at Newark Penn station - lots of junkies, homeless and women on street corners at night

there was no rooms available upon arrival despite booking months in advance, the room was very dusty, the coffee machine didn’t work, there is zero ventilation in the bathroom, not enough towels for a booking for 4, requested towels didn’t arrive despite flagging with staff, the rooms lack soundproofing and can hear next door, train horns and planes overhead
