The entire suite interior with the exception of the bed was very clean and with excellent utilities. The suites lock and key system is very outdated.
We chose the suite mostly because Minerva promised us a queen sized bed. That was in the discussion that I had with her as well as in the online description. The mattress was ghastly!!! I finally got three hours sleep after two sleeping pills. It is not safe for us to drive after such a night. I would advise any traveler to avoid Shorewater Resort because they don't keep their promises. I am the principal driver. For me, on an overnight stay, a brand new fridge and stove mean nothing. What I needed was a good night's sleep - AND I DIDN'T GET IN AT YOUR SHOREWATER RESORT.

Beach right at the door. Queen bed and sofa bed as advertised with pillows, sheets and blankets. Handy kitchen with basic but useful crockery, pots and pans. Lock box for keys for late arrivers,

Great helpful staff. Great location on the shore. Even tho on the highway, it was quiet. Murphy bed nice addition instead of a sofa bed. Right beside a small public park with bocce lanes. Great spot for kids.

lovely suite with beautiful decor and that cool nook under the stairs!…. the beach was right behind the unit with an awesome view…. bed was super comfy…. code lock for the door was fantastic as no key was needed

The view was great, modern yet beachy feel to the inside, good use of space within, lots of blankets towels etc.
There were no coffee filters for the coffee machine, I had to go out at 10pm to get some, so I could have coffee the next day for sunrise. Also the knives were very very dull and the cutting board was awful, no kitchen supplies such as salt/ pepper, sugar, coffee mate or anything like that.

Great ocean view, cozy feel, modern and well equipped kitchen. I really enjoyed the gas fireplace. Very friendly and helpful staff

could have done with a full length mirror. Only one mirror in the bathroom for such a large place. No radio, as was described. No music channels either. Could have done with some paper towels, or napkins as these weren't there either.

The website for Shorewater Resort says that it is right on the beach … and they are not kidding! We walked into our room and the view out the windows is incredible. The beach is literally steps away, and it is beautiful. We had barely finished carrying our belongings in, and went straight to the beach for a swim. It was almost 5pm and the water was lovely! Angela and Stephanie at the front desk were wonderful, and did a great job making our stay enjoyable. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you!

It was located right next to the Qualicum beach including the private beach that belongs to the resort. Gorgeous view, a lot of privacy, quietness, we loved everything about this place. There are a few restaurants within walking distance and Qualicum downtown area is 15 minutes drive away. The only downside is stores and even restaurants close early. We arrived at 8:30 pm, which is after hour for the staff, but they ensured that I was able to receive keys and checkin smoothly.
TV remote wasn't working properly. My partner says that the fridge was loud, which didn't bother me. I can't think of anything else.

No breakfast due to coved liked the loft but beds went very comfortable.Otherwise good time was had .

Great view! Roomy and very functional. Location is great, close to the town centre, and right on the water. See lots of birds, eagles, and seals. Enjoyed morning coffee/tea on the balcony & watch the sunrise. Nice outdoor area to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. Gas fireplace warms the place up nicely and adds great ambience.
A little dated in decor, and pots/pans could use some replacement.
