Tranquilo, centrico, limpio fácil acceso al transporte publico, al cruzar la calle podía tomar el autobus que pasaba por diferentes centro comerciales, restaurantes, y a la estacion del tren que nos dejaba en Washington en el área cerca de museos. Lo recomiendo.

Que no tenía microondas en área común todo el día, solo en el área de desayuno en la mañana.

Antes de realizar la reserva vi malas recomendaciones de este hospedaje pero mi experiencia no fue mala. El alojamiento realizaba a diario limpieza en habitación y la habitación era cómoda. No tuvimos problemas de ruido y el desayuno era básico pero, la relación calidad-precio en un lugar donde los hospedajes son costosos fue lo que me hizo decidirme por este hotel. El hotel queda cerca de una estación de metro a la que se puede acceder caminando o tomando un bus en frente del hotel (Metro línea amarilla en Huntington). La cercanía a DC y precio creo que son considerables para este hospedaje y las habitaciones si bien no son modernas, hay comodidad para estancias cortas o incluso más de 8 días. La habitación contaba con nevera y microondas. Incluso hay una estación de agua con filtro en recepción y es un area segura pues a la par del hotel existen complejos de apartamentos.

El internet y wifi es inestable por momentos lo que puede ser un problema para personas que necesitan trabajar pero existe en recepción un business center con estación de café.

The room was clean when I arrived and serviced by housekeeping daily (an anomaly these days). Hot water was readily available. Amenities such as microwave and mini-fridge added to the value. The hotel staff, from the front desk to the breakfast area to housekeeping are all pleasant and accommodating.

The exterior areas could use better cleaning. The concrete walk on the main level to the front stairs and the stairs themselves would benefit from a good power-washing. The complementary internet service is on-again/off-again at times and even in centrally located rooms the signal level can be quite low, possibly contributing to the reliability.

The air conditioner was in dire need of service or replacement - the compressor would try and turn on in multiple short bursts, then cut off. It was also very noisy. The carpet smelled like a mix of cleaning fluid and cigarette smoke. There seemed to be people wandering in from the street to eat the free breakfast. It also appeared the there were homeless people using vouchers to stay there, and they were giving the desk clerks a hard time.

Lobby area was somewhat descent. Couldn't check in at our time of arrival as is was too early for check in and no rooms available yet-understandable. We had just booked an hour before arrival and paid for it at booking time via bookings.com. We used the restroom in the lobby prior to stepping out to kill time....OMG! We both came out of our restrooms and complained about the smell, soaking wet toilets and floor, and floors were sticky as we walked out. Called to get a refund from bookings.com and did not get a refund. Instead we were charged in full!
