Very happy with the staff of the hotel. Neatly dressed and professional and helpful. The last hotel we stated at, (different hotel chain), the desk clerk was sleeping at the desk with ripped jeans and a hoodie pulled over his face and he never said a word when he checked us in. This seems to be happening as the norm lately, but at this Holiday Inn it was just the opposite. Was impressed with the staff as well as the housekeeping staff. Will stay there again if in Concord.
Happier with a breakfast buffet because I'm usually in a hurry in the morning, but the breakfast we had to order off the menu was very good. Not really a complaint, just a personal preference.

everything was great, location, the room, especially Sheela at the front desk, very friendly, always greeting you with a smile. I would suggest to IHG to put in their website that breakfast is at the restaurant inside the building but it does not work like a self service. They give you a menu with different choices and prices but if you booked your room with continental breakfast you can ask for anything regardless the price but you have to make sure to tell the front desk that you do not want to be charged by the restaurant. This way Sheela in this case put a note in the system on our behalf and we were not charged for anything.

Close to Pearson test center
The heater/AC was terribly loud, that kept me up all night. The sheet smelled like someone who didn’t take shower for days and had slept on it.

I liked the location being in the center of the city.
While I understand that there was an event happening during the weekend, the parking was poor as I had issues parking. While the room was clean, it looked like my room was going through renovations

we were overbooked apparently and in the end were told to leave because he booked me again and as a result my bank put a hold on my card twice he said i double booked and was out on the street for the rainy cold night. not only that was given five minutes to do so very very hurt and offended

Was easy to find, we were able to check in early which was very nice. The breakfast was awesome, everything was very clean and the staff was very accommodating and polite.

The breakfast was good. I kept looking for the cashier and trying to track them down to paid for my food. I couldn't find her anywhere after serving our coffee.
I was told that I could check in at 3pm. I got to the hotel at 4pm. My room was not ready and had to wait until 4:45 pm. I was not happy because I had to get ready by 5:30pm to go to my rehearsal/ Orientation for my pageant competition. The receptionist told me to use the locker room to get ready. This was unacceptable.

the location to the venue for dance
the rooms were not clean. you constantly got harassed by staff at the pool. I have never been to a hotel that policed every movement in the pool. all they did was yell at the kids, very rudely I might add, for every little thing. no child under 26 allowed in hot tub, which was cooler than my showers, no running, jumping or even splashing! so basically the kids can stand in the water!

pool and hot tub had a strong odor of chlorine, hurt our eyes. were told by other guests they were experiencing the same problem. bed mattress was firm and a bit uncomfortable.
