De kamer was ruim. Het hotel mede gekozen op basis reviews. Het hotel is prima. Ontbijt goed verzorgd. In vergeljk heb ik gelijkwaardige hotels gehad voor lagere pijzen. Alleen is dit moeilijk vergelijken. Ligging, vraag etc. Maar beetje overranked vond ik het wel. Personeel was vriendelijk.
In de lift hing een bord met tekst. De score was 8 of hoger... ook een manier om mensen te beinvloeden, en hogere scores te behalen.
Airco was iets luidruchtig, en hoes om de matras die voelbare plooien veroorzaakte.

I was pleasantly surprised with the Holiday Inn Express. The hotel was very clean each day of our stay and all of the staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was a good size. We had a room with two queen beds, a refrigerator, and a microwave. The mattress, pillows, and bedding were all very comfortable. The bathroom had Dove Hand Wash, Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash, and Body Lotion. The breakfast was great - they had hot breakfast available - even on weekdays as well as cereals and yogurt. And the hotel is close to great restaurants, shopping, Weeki Watchee state park, and much more!
My only wish was that there was one trash can that was larger than the others in the room. We had leftovers we reheated and the smaller trash cans were just big enough. Housekeeping came every day so there was no overflow but if I had to give one change this would be it.

Nice clean room and very good breakfast.
The bathtub in the room had peeled. Not the wall but the tub itself. I took a picture and showed the woman at the desk and she moved us.

The breakfast was great, the staff was super friendly and helpful, the room was modern and clean.
The pool was very dirty and side parking lot was sketchy and didn't seem safe to park in.

All the staff were friendly and helpful. Property was updated well, room was spotless. Breakfast was a welcome bonus!
Saw some self-made, text-only signs from the GM, including one in the elevator talking about the importance of completing the survey I would receive. OK, but I haven't even seen my room yet. Inside the room, there was one saying to be nice to the staff if you have to report an issue. I might have flipped the two, or duplicated the messages. Not sure if there were others. Anyway, maybe it works. Human touch. The place was excellent.

The bathroom and entry tile floor had a dirty film all over prompting my sister to go buy Lysol and paper towels and clean them.

I would like to point out one great employee in particular, Charmaine Marshall, breakfast services. She has such a great attitude, and runs a great shop(breakfast). Pays attention to detail and is very good with customers. She is a bonus for this Hotel.
they spoiled me in the past. They would serve Chocolate Chip Cookies in the pm, but no more.

the bathroom shower had no proper setup and there was no toilet paper holder and no place to put towels once used.
