Clean, very good bed and bedding, close to light rail

Nice facility

Airport shuttle was full, said it would return in 15 minutes. After 30 minutes ,called a $30 cab. Arrived at Marriott and 2 shuttles were there ,setting empty.

I had a room that was a mile from the elevator. Poor design.

Convenience

Well I specifically asked for an executive suite with the big bathroom like the photos and we didn’t receive that but paid more. I also had family members drop off roses and chocolates since it was our wedding night and they were not even placed in the room and it was only the day prior

The hotel is beautiful. The restaurant is excellent.

The walls don't seem to be insulated for sound. I could hear other guests in their rooms and the hallways.

The food was good and fresh and for the price, it better had been. The white maintenance guy was nice and did his best, the black lady at the front desk was nice and helpful, and the black waitress working the bar area who had locs was pretty nice as well.

The fact that we sat in our room for two hours with the door open (no privacy) because the ac was broken and on 78 degrees. Had to contact them FOUR times. One phone call, three in person, three different people before someone came to fix it. After all that hassle, the tv wouldn’t hold volume. Every time we turned the volume up, it went back down to zero and they couldn’t figure out how to fix it. So after we’ve already unpacked and cleaned our room with our own cleaning supplies, we had to pack back up, and move rooms anyway. Clean and unpack again. Totally inconvenient. I asked the lady at checkout if there would be any compensation for our inconveniences we faced (like comp our meals since we’ve already paid for the room) and she said someone would get with us after 2pm. Of course no one ever reached out.

Short transfer from Airport. Nice friendly staff and the bar was lovely.

Just as in most North American Hotels it is always 2 Queen beds. Which there could be more places with a Queen and 2 singles, makes it easier when travelling with 2 teenage kids.
