The location was great perfect for a small town get away and over all we had a decent time
The one bartender and me had a communication barrier and couldn't understand one another and due to that we had a lil bit of an issue with the drinks ordered. However the issue was resolved and all went well. The market also has very limited snacks. There is also no complimentary coffee in the morning for you. But over all this was a pleasant stay

Very good location if you need to be in Silver Spring, and walkable to.Metro, but I wouldn't stay here if you're planning to spend most of your time in DC for sightseeing etc, as the price is comparable to various downtown DC hotels.
Skip the hotel coffee bar and Starbucks and head to any of the numerous Ethiopian coffee shops within a few blocks. Parking is free on Sundays in the adjacent garage, which is owned and operated by the county. Staff were all very friendly and my top floor room was clean and up to Courtyard standards.
Setup of the hotel is a little odd - It's annoying to have to take not one but two elevators to get down to street level.

I give this bad evaluation to warn future guest of a malpractice of the hotel to impose an advanced payement for "incidentals".One month later I am still writing to request my refund of 484,58 US $ that I paged on my arrival date 8 of April. More over they never answer to the mails. Otherwise the location and the personnel are very good
Just be warn on the policy of Marriott, that consist to get advanced payement, and do not refund despite the reassurance of the reception that it will be done. Upon my arrival the receptionist told me that it can take 1 to 2 weeks after my departure!!! But even now I have not seen any transfer and nobody react to my request

Staff's attitude and the location of the room. I am a Bonyoy member and I was given no water. I was told to drink from the tap because they were all out of water.

A confirmed reservation was cancelled by property without notifying us directly. We showed up to the front desk and was turned away with only a name and address of another Courtyard Marriott that was neither in the location nor the price range we wanted.

The room was clean & comfortable. The room has a coffee maker & mini fridge. The property is in a well centralized location in downtown Silver Spring. Parking is available on 5th floor of the parking garage with access to the entry of the hotel (with use of your key card).
Unfortunately, the room lacks a microwave. We stored our leftover food in the fridge, but was unable to eat it because there was no microwave. Breakfast is not included with your stay.

I was told a $50 hold on my card but they took $60 & manger told me sometimes they round up & couldn't explain why they took the extra money was just rude

Location Location Location You are 5 miles out from DC, and in the heart of Silver Springs, definitely would stay again.

Good location, went for a concert at filmore and it was right down the street a 5 minute walk. Good restaurants around and a entire mall.

Located in the heart of downtown Silver Spring, having the parking garage right there makes it super convenient. The staff is wonderfully helpful. In some places, you can tell someone is just "doing a job", but everyone there is top notch.
