A perfect place to stay after crossing the border at the Peace Arch before travelling the rest of the way to our destination. A good night's sleep for good value - thanks! Also, we received a great recommendation to enjoy a delicious, hearty breakfast (& great coffee) at Old Town Cafe - much appreciated... Mom

There was a bed.
The stopper for the tub didn't work and no one could fix it. Plus, there was a woman who was under the influence of something on the couch in the lobby.

This was a sweet budget motel! Large, comfortable rooms, everything very clean, welcoming staff. We'd stay here again!

First nite 3 in the morning noise from upper room ..but after that we slept fine. Room very comfortable. A bit of hallway lights shone under the door but OK. We had fun. We loved the waffle maker and breakfast bar. Attendant folks were nice.

The staff was incredibly helpful and always greeted everyone with a smile. The hotel offers a good balance of price point and offerings. I've stayed in larger brand-name hotels in Bellingham that were more expensive, and Bay City Motor Inn was a much better place to call home for a few days.
I would have preferred just a bit of a better breakfast and more coffee but that is not to say that the service wasn't appreciated. The hotel offers a good balance of price point and offerings.

Everything was great here. Room was good, beds were comfortable. Bathroom area was clean, a tiny bit small but no problem for us as we were only there one night and got in later and left early. Breakfast was yummy with waffles and bagels, cold cereal, toast, yogurt, pastries, fruit, and juice.
