clean, friendly staff

I did not appreciate how cold the pool was. My kids could not enjoy it at all.

Breakfast was fine. There was only one person working the breakfast. She did a good job of managing the food items that were served. The area was very clean. Very good coffee. Staff was nice. Always friendly and helpful. Room was quiet. The grounds on the outside were fine. There was a new water heater sitting just outside front door the entire time we were a guest. Very odd I thought.

Our room smelled badly of pet odor. Bathroom sink didn’t drain properly. Air conditioner made lots of noise. The bathroom needs updating. Toilets need to be the taller size for seniors. We had to change to another room. We hear that Hilton Hotels are all pet friendly. Staff mentioned this to us. Big mistake. I’ll never stay in a Hilton hotel again. Don’t care to smell someone else’s pet odor in my room. What’s up with the air conditioning? My room felt cold and damp as did my sheets and comforter and all my clothing was damp feeling. Are the air conditioners swamp coolers that are used in the desert? I was in central Iowa. The humidity is very high in the summer. You need evaporation type air consulting in this climate. I was so uncomfortable in our room from the damp feeling. I’ll never stay in a Hilton hotel again. Sorry. This was all very disappointing. I’ve been a loyal Hilton customer for years but not anymore. Sorry.

They are not pet friendly so we had to cancel. The room was still charged out even though we had to stay and pay for a different pet friendly hotel. We were told by another Hampton Inn location that they were all now pet friendly, but as I was reading the policies on our way with our dog from Texas, I saw that pets were not allowed. I contacted the property and they didn’t respond, but I was charged for our stay anyways.

The gentleman at the front desk was nice and helpful.

My son was unable to hook up his switch to the television. The pillow covers were yellow. The toilet wouldn’t flush a few times without taking the back of the toilet off to flush. In my sons room the toilet was clogged and they were advised it would be fixed while we’re out for the day. It was never fixed. He came to our room to use the bathroom.

The rooms were very clean and spacious and the breakfast was good. I would stay again if in the area.

The location was not walker friendly. Everything was two miles or so away from the hotel. There was a gas station near however.

I think 200 dollars a night is too much to spend if I have to go get my own towels and coffee. wastebaskets were very small and garbage was overflowing.

Everything was as expected. Wish more hotels had bars in them. I don't drink but when you're traveling alone it would be nice to have some conversation.

Great location and very clean!

The exercise room was nice but wish it was larger.
