Breakfast was ok. Bananas not ripe. Hot water only warm. No coffee. When I told the attendant that both urns were empty at 8:56 am, her reply was “I will go brew some more”. It seems to me that a new pot should be ready when the last pot runs out. Waited about 10 minutes for coffee.

Room
They could not find our Booking reservation, had to get the management. Had no record of booking, we had our confirmation number etc.

The room and bath were clean. The bed was very comfortable. I liked the potato pepper mix for breakfast.
The shower curtain rod had half of the mounting screws loose. This should be fixed before it falls down. The trash can in the bath was metal, not plastic, and was rusted. The hose to the shower head had a leak, more than just dripping. The button switch on the wall lamp has a poor electric contact and needs replaced. It had to pushed many times to get the light to come on.

It was close to the event.
The gas smell as soon as you walk into the lobby. The lobby was dark and sinister like they were trying to hide more than the gas smell.

Friendly staff. Nice pool area.
A/C very noisy and inefficient. Exhaust fan in bathroom sounded like a jet plane.

We didn’t realize that it was a pet friendly hotel and we didn’t have a pet.
I asked for a non pet room but it seems a bit smelly anyway. Our fault for not checking better. They have a few restaurants nearby and we picked this Mexican restaurant and it was fresh and delicious!

second time the staff was overwhelmed with the amount of rooms still to be cleaned,it was after 5 when we arrived. A lol the staff was wonderful and doing their best to hand the bad situation!

it was clean and bedding comfortable
no cookies at checking, staff said they were going to bake more, come back in 30 minutes. cam back twice no cookies. went for breakfast at 5:55am, no where near ready, said the “helper” didn’t show up. No bags to go available.

Great place to stop half way to southern Florida, good breakfast and friendly staff
2 desk staff asked for a damage deposit upon arrival since booking was made trough a third party (Booking.com)....told me that the room has to be inspected in the morning before any refund.....upon departure the desk staff did not understand why this was charged and refund was issued without discussion
