This is such a haven, in a beautiful location. Our bed and room were so comfortable, and the food in the restaurant was amazing. we had wanted to stay at the Woodstock for many years, and it exceeded our expectations

they done all of the extras extremely well, however, they were disappointing on a lot of the basics, we tried multiple times to book dinner, reservations, and no one got back to us, a couple of the front of house team were quite unhelpful in questions that we had and didn’t know a lot of answers, however, wouldn’t volunteer to try and find out, I would expect the customer service to be a much higher standard for this type of hotel. The sofa bed in the room was not clean and extremely poor quality and extremely uncomfortable, this was flags to the team, however, no action was taken. It was an extremely hot day, which was out of the ordinary for the time of year and it just so happened as this was the time they had chosen to turn off their air-conditioning to have it re-gassed.. overall, it was a disappointing end and the quality of the service we got was much better when we stayed in the Holiday Inn in Boston at the start of our holiday. It has all of the potential to be a fabulous experience and really does deliver on all of the extras like the fire pits, leisure facilities, games. However, for in a country that takes pride in his customer service it was disappointing, overall I don’t think I would return nor would I recommend it to people.

Dinner - way overpriced and small portions.

The location of the hotel was beautiful. The facilities and rooms were also great. We ate in the restaurant on our second night and the food was lovely and staff both friendly and helpful.

The hotel is lovely

The people that work there are rude and act like they’re doing you a favor by helping you. I’ve never dealt with hotel staff with such an attitude. The front desk staff and spa desk staff are snooty. I’ve traveled all over the world and never dealt with this kind of rudeness. Total bummer!
