The location was convenient to get to the Bruce Museum and Greenwich avenue shops and restaurants. They gave you water and Prosecco on arrival, coffee and warm beverages all day and continental breakfast in the morning. The room was well equipped and luxuriously decorated. Harbor views were nice.

The service was a little lacking, especially at the restaurant on site l’escale where we had dinner. The food was excellent but the hostess especially did not make us feel welcome. The bathroom needed some maintenance, the countertop was separating from the backsplash and the shower curtain was missing some hooks. Also, our room had a balcony, which we really liked and spent a lot of time on, but it was on the second floor right above the restaurants outdoor area. The awning was an eyesore.

I am a big traveler and I always book through Booking. I have never left a negative comment This time I was blown away.In the Booking reservation n.2820763705 for the night between 24 and 25 April the price indicated was € 295 including breakfast. When I asked where breakfast was served in the morning, they pointed me to a table near a fireplace where it was only possible to have a cup of coffee, an apple and a cereal bar. Nothing else! Of course I have the photo of this table. I complained; and then they directed me to a room that was reached via two long corridors on the first floor and two staircases without a lift. It was the restaurant connected to the hotel, but under separate management. I had to wait until 7:30am. They presented me with a menu with few dishes and very high prices. I asked for a muffin (dry; not fresh) and a cappuccino. I paid a very large bill. In the hotel I didn't ask for any extras; not even bottled water. But instead of €295 (including breakfast) the total bill was US$508.35. This amount was not requested at check out. But I only later discovered that it was loaded directly onto the card, having taken the "guarantee" swipe at check-in. The hotel is advertised for its water view. But there are no dehors, and going out one realizes that the canal is fetid. Old and cheap external structures; fake plastic plants

Great location.

The staff were exceptional. Very welcoming and fun. We had two well behaved small dogs with us, and the staff were so kind to them. The bed was so comfortable. The room beautiful. Felt like we were away from the NE cold in the warm palette of the Mediterranean decor. We had continental breakfast in a beautifully decorated room with fire and view of the harbor with few jolly guests. We had dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed heathy choices on the menu, while listening to a two-piece band who were just amazing. Want to go back soon.
