The town and potential for a nice stay was there.
Our room smelled really bad but they couldn’t give us a different room.

The location is perfect and we love the staff. This was the second trip in 3 months.
It wasn’t the property as much as the menu had changed. The food was so good 3 months prior. It was still good but the breakfast menu was gone and only buffet was available. Again the staff was amazing.

They had a closet of beach equipment/accessories that we were able to use at no extra cost. Our kids had a blast bringing the shovels and buckets to the beach.

The fact that I had to carry my suitcase down the stairs there’s no ramp by the front door. The gentleman that checked me in charged my credit card when I had already paid for the room in full, so not only did he charge it, but argued with me and told me I was wrong and charged me more than I paid for my roomandbooking.com

I liked nothing.
* It's an age old property...not well maintained
* Shower water wasn't draining properly- water was getting clogged
* Maintenance handy man tried his best to clean the clogged shower drain, but in vain
* Linen/ towels were stained
* Balcony door wasn't locking properly- had to slam it multiple times to align it to the bolt /lock

Antiquated room and broken door and safe that only had 4 usable numbers in the keypad

Pool was fantastic. The view from the breakfast room was amazing. The breakfast buffet was excellent, including still-moist scrambled eggs. Location was ideal. The "city" view from our room had water view of the Intracoastal and a canal. Easy parking.
Both the hallways and our room were in need of serious repair and renovation. Moldings were crumbling. A plumbing problem in the hall had a hose draining into a bucket. It looks like the building is being deliberately allowed to run down in preparation for demolition.

the shower was really narrow and a grab bar on the wall hit my ribs when I turned around in the shower. the shower head was Also too low. the toilet didn’t flush well and required multiple flushes.

Excellent location, just steps to the beach and within walking distance to a variety of Bars, Restaurant and Shops. Very clean and comfortable Hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would not hesitate to return.
