could actually see the cold air coming in under the door. heat was off when I arrived in room and was very cold in room.

The room had a beautiful view of the Connecticut River. The king sized bed was very comfortable. The room had adequate space and was clean. We liked that we could park directly in front of our room. We were excited about the free breakfast, but it was just OK. The shower worked well. Glad to have a refrigerator and microwave.

It was difficult to figure out the TV. We couldn't find major stations such as CBS, ABC, or NBC. The breakfast was fruit, cereal and milk, yogurt was available. It was OK, but there was nothing "hot." When we came to check in the office was open, but no one was available. There wasn't a bell to ring. We opened the door several times which seemed to alert the staff so we could check in. Later, we tried to call the main desk to ask about the TV channels. The phone rang more than 20 times with no one answering. My husband stayed in the room while I walked over - the phone was still ringing. Finally, someone came to address our concern. She came to the room to help with the TV, but never heard of CBS.

The staff (Linda) was fantastic--friendly, helpful. The breakfast was more than I expected for the price of the room (cereal, fresh waffles, bagels, banana bread, fruit, juice, coffee, yoghurt, hard boiled eggs). The outside of the hotel is not inviting. Our room (21) was tired but clean. It had a beautiful water view.

How short our stay was.

Clean, great location, pretty view of the lake. This is a value property. The rooms are clean, the bed comfortable and the bathrooms have plenty of hot water. It is not a luxury property and if that’s what you expect for the price of their rooms you will be greatly disappointed. But, if you want a nice, clean place to stay and don’t care about older furnishings or truly minor “fix it” items, then you will be very happy. Good WiFi, A/C unit in room worked well (summer time visit), refrigerator and microwave in room. In response to some other posts: no bugs, no odors, nice staff, clean bedding, firm mattress.

Nothing, really. I got exactly what I expected.

Beautiful location with chairs outside to see the sunset view over water is lovely. Everything was clean, plenty of hot water and mini fridge in room. Great value for a very reasonable price. I will definitely stay there again and I have recommended Sunset to my friends.

I thought it was a bit dated and definitely needs née mattress.! You could see all the lumps in it without staring but it was quiet and nice

Room all together was nice and clean. Staff was just fine except for the fact when my wife had her monthly womanly thing it stains the comforter a little bit we washed it out and the lady was really nasty with us about it made me charge $40 out of my security deposit of 100 to replace them and then the next night we stay there it happen again and my wife was careful she had a womanly stuff and it still happened that mean that's not our fault if it was done purposely yeah but this was not it was a monthly woman thing

My fiance had gotten her monthly visitor and accidentally got some blood on the blanket. I didn't see it so the owner found the blood and made me pay $40 of my security deposit. 2 nights later same thing happens and she tell us to never rent there again. Rude and against the law
