The best part was the staff . They were available and very nice , also doing their best to accommodate, given what there was to work with..

Location for the function of the campus was the nicest part. The building is outdated, okay. The details here, the TV barely worked. The air-conditioning had what appeared to be mold on the coils. There were no screens, so leaving the window open, given it was a comfortable night, not an option. It smelled like a fresh cigar, which we were able to air out. Which tells you someone smoked in the room of the non-smoking building recent to our arrival. We were awake early, just not comfortable scratchy sheets. I luckily packed pillow cases. Went to get coffee and snacks @5a, non-paying "visitors" of sketchy nature were helping themselves to the coffee and set up snacks. So, at the time we got there, it was all almost gone. So your customers are paying to feed the streets. The showers 2 temps scalding or ice. Just a place to lay your head, don't expect a proper shower, safe breathing with a.c., and no basic coffee or "continental" foods. I have traveled. I am no frills type. Hotels are for sleeping, especially in Waco, TX. The price 125/night . Was what we got worth a chain super8, which I thought would be easy midline safe, it is not. The emergency doors were broken , so they were not fire safe either. Again, the staff were friendly and kind and doing their best with what was available to them. The problems are above them. There is no general safety or comfort here.

It smelled like people smoke in the hallways, refrigerator leaked water on the floor causing all our clothes to get wet. I checked out and went somewhere else.

It was located in a great spot in the city. Everything was pretty clean, a few crumbs on the floor but 5 minutes of being there the cleaning crew came to sweep. They were on it without me even complaining. Very on top of things!

The only thing that I didn’t like was that I constantly had problems with the internet. Eventually I gave up on it and just used my own data plan from my phone. Very bad Wi-Fi unfortunately!

It felt dirty and there were people Lauder in in the back  of the hotel felt unsafe and scary
