Location is good.

The decor is in poor taste, the quality of the sheets and furniture are substandard. The upkeep is shoddy.

Great location, close to Flathead lake. We stayed in the “Victorian” room (a downstairs unit) in the Downtown location. The room is large and pleasant. The bathroom is large with 2 sinks and some really nice deco. Water pressure is good. There is a large walk-in closet which the staff had stocked with extra towels and where the fridge, coffee maker, ironing board and iron could be found. The room and bathroom were clean. The room has 2 queen beds. We appreciated the new, efficient and silent air conditioning unit. The walls and ceiling must be thick because we didn’t hear the other guests through walls or walking overhead. There is a bonus microwave oven which we didn’t expect. There is a cast iron table set with two chairs outside the room on a paved patio, which was great to sip wine enjoying the sunset. We were surprised by the appearance of the building which looks old and historic but fits perfectly with the surroundings.

Our first impression upon checkin in was: “oh dear, we are in a dump”. You push open the door of the hotel and where you expect to find a reception desk, there is a dusty stairway with dirty walls and peeling paint. At the top of the stairs was a harried receptionist who seems to be covering maid and other duties too. This is the only time we saw the staff. We are making allowance for Covid19 staffing shortage and didn’t expect to have the bed made or the towels changed everyday but, there are details that are hard to overlook in a hotel that styles itself 4 stars: Soap in the bathroom: there were two plastic jars of almost empty indescribable goo. One was marked conditioner but the other was a mystery (we didn’t use any). The soap for the two sinks also came in (almost empty) jars which were at least recognizable brands, but both pumps were broken. There was a toilet paper holder which could hold 3 reserve rolls. There was one roll already started and no reserve. No tissues. The paint on the ceiling just outside from the tub is cracked and peeling badly. There is a coffee maker in the room but the coffee grounds are in a large blank jar (probably filled from a large Folger’s can). Same for the creamer (almost empty). There was no sugar, no stirrers, no cups. The microwave oven sits on a shelf where its cord cannot reach the electrical outlet. (We fixed this by using one of the chairs as a stand, close to the outlet). The clothes hangers in the closet are 2 left-over dry cleaner freebies. Some of the electrical outlets have no cover. When the shower is turned on, a loud train horn sound comes on and doesn’t stop until the shower is turned off. The outside doorway is covered with cobwebs and the outside patio hasn’t been swept for days. All in all, this place is a mix of comfort with charm and terrible neglect.

The location was conveniently close to shopping and dining. The room was cozy and the staff was nice!

No restaurant

Each room has a creativity that almost exceeds the imagination. Fun visions of the owner, brought to life as a theme in each room. Very fun! And the staff are very considerate and approachable. The local area around the hotel has several great restaurants, and a local flavor that reminisces of a modern Mayberry.

Venue previously had dining facilities and was a local draw. Unfortunately this is now closed, but definitely reflects an elegant past, and would have been nice to have this operational, however, recent events have caused many course corrections.

Easy to get to. Quiet, even though right off street.

Door lock was questionable. No cleaning done between days.

The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean. I really liked the list of restaurants with prices and comments. It made finding a place to eat super easy.

There was nothing that I did not like. The hotel was in a very convenient location and the staff and facility were great.

Cute Quirky Inn with beautiful view of Bigfork Bay. Would definitely come back.

The room was extremely dirty. The sink thing on wall is coming off, there are no outlet covers on some walls, floors were filthy, the creamer expired in 2018!!!! There was OLD food in the fridge and NO TP! It was horrible...I wouldn't pay $25 dollars to stay there again. It could be cute..rooms need a complete makeover and someone who can clean.

Not good heating, cold room , staff not available other than phone, no extra toilet paper, very little shampoo, need extra garbage can, need Kleenex in the room, dirty refrigerator, need microwave in the room, dust lighting over the bed. A more convenient, safe way to enter and exit.
