There was plastic on our window with blue tape all the way around. There were men staying in the rooms above us, it appeared that they were residents there every time me and my best friend would go outside they were hanging around the railing with their shorts pulled down much lower than they should of been. The coffee was horrible in our room, the microwave DID not work. There were no hand towels, there were 2 towels and wash clothes. Me and my friend went down to where breakfast was being served but there was nothing left, we got there around 9:45 thinking we were going to have a good breakfast before we got on the road but boy were we wrong. I would never stay there again!!!!!

The only positive part of this place was the location. It was close to the friends we were there to see and close to downtown southern Pines, and easy access to main road to head to Raleigh and Greensboro. But literally that was the only positive for us.

The room was dirty when we arrived, even had trash from prior guests in the garbage. The bathroom was a mess and we couldn’t get hot water-like at all! It barely got luke warm. We also got bit by something both nights while in bed, but just once or twice as if it were a fluke but multiple bites all over. Unsure if it was fleas or bed bugs. Regardless we put everything in garbage bags before going back in the car. The “breakfast” was nothing more then toast, a waffle maker and coffee with only powder creamer and juice boxes. However it was cleaned up before the time advertised it should’ve been, so for those who wanted to get rest don’t bother trying to get breakfast. The pillows were worse then something from the dollar store and felt like sleeping on pieces of cardboard in a bag. We had multiple bugs in the room. Overall it was extremely disappointing. It wasn’t cheap enough to just ignore the issues because it wasn’t that cheap of a stay. I’ve stayed in multiple Days inns and never been this disappointed and disgust d with a property.

The room and bed was fine. It was clean and ok, but needs updating

We waited 15 minutes before a second person came from the back to help us. We also checked before taking this hotel for a hot breakfast in the mornings. Although they have a sign up that says there is a hot breakfast every day, we got a cold breakfast in a brown paper bag. This is not acceptable to us.

when we got there it was like someone had already stayed there it was crumbs all in the bed, so before even sleeping in the bed I had to shake the covers and remake the bed, the sink was stopped up and we had a half a roll of toilet paper. I had to go buy some because they didn’t leave us any.
