The view
The unit on arrival and opening the door smelt ..
It was old and dreary
The tea bags were stale, the left over sugar hard
The shower was not clean. No milk .. beds uncomfortable..
we had no sleep due to dogs or dog continually barking ..heavy footed walks from the upstairs unit.

Decided to give some feedback to the owner Ross who was extremely obnoxious and sounded as old as the unit.

Strathmore Lodge was fabulous. Clean, tidy, comfortable with a well set up kitchen for utensils and appliances. The added bonus of being able to have our 2 dogs was the best and they even felt relaxed and at home there, not stressed at all. Safe and securely fenced yard puts our mind at ease also. Close to dog friendly beach. Communication with host was easy and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Location of the property was very close the beach and all amenities . House was pretty spacious and well stocked . loved the backyard and the aspect it was very pet friendly !

A very small fridge with 2 cracked shelves which couldn't be used.
Host could not be contacted when we had an urgent issue - the place could not be locked

This unit was perfect for our 5 night get away with our 2 grandkids. Unit was very clean and location outstanding. Minutes to beach, shops etc. Ross was so easy to deal with and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The unit has everything you need and more. We will be back. Thanks Ross.
There wasn’t anything not to like about this unit. If I had to pick anything, it would be that bigger mugs were provided. Hubby and I have 600ml super sized coffees in the morning (especially when we have our grandkids lol) so would have liked a couple of big mugs.
